Abstract:
Described is a combination of a hinge for doors or wings and a damping device in which the hinge (2) is composed of a first fastening arm (7), a second fastening arm (8) and a connecting system (9) interposed between the first and the second fastening arm (7, 8) in such manner as to make them reciprocally mobile; and in which the damping device (3) is associated with the hinge (2) at a mounting position where the damping device (3) and the hinge (2) are positioned close to each other; the damping device (3) comprises a mounting case (10), a cylinder and piston unit (11) hinged to the mounting case (10), an actuating rod (12) and a drive unit (13) interposed between the cylinder and piston unit (11) and the actuating rod (12) in order to impart to the piston (26) and cylinder (27) a relative sliding movement; the actuating rod (12) extends into the hinge (2) and is movable in a straight line between a first, extracted position, where it extends freely into the open hinge (2), and a second, retracted position, where it is in contact with a thrust surface (17) of the closed hinge (2).
Abstract:
A consumer appliance with a soft open door mechanism includes a cabinet having top and a bottom and defining an opening along a front side. A door has a top and a bottom and is attached by a hinge to the front side of the cabinet. The hinge is at a bottom of the door so that the door is movable between an upright position closing the opening and a substantially horizontal position opening the opening. A spring is mounted in the cabinet so as to oppose movement of the door toward the horizontal position. A damping device is mounted within the cabinet activatable by an opening movement of the door toward the horizontal position to slow the door motion. The damping device is not active until the door has moved a distance from the upright position toward the horizontal position. Again, various options and modifications are possible.

Abstract:
A hinge includes a base receiving a coupling device detachably mounted onto a mounting seat. An outer resilient plate includes an end pivotably mounted onto the base. A fixed seat is pivotably mounted onto the other end of the outer resilient plate. A buffer device includes a connecting member, a buffer, and an inner resilient plate. Each of a first pivot hole of the connecting member, an end of the buffer, and an end of the inner resilient plate is pivotably mounted onto the base. The other end of the buffer is pivotably mounted onto a second pivot hole of the connecting member. The other end of the inner resilient plate is slideably mounted onto an arcuate slot of the connecting member. The inner resilient plate further includes a fulcrum pivot hole intermediate the ends thereof. The fulcrum pivot hole is pivotably mounted by a pivot to the base.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a hinge system and method for use with an electrical enclosure. The hinge system can include a first mounting plate having a bushing and a second mounting plate having an aperture. The hinge system can include a pin having a first portion received by the bushing and a second portion selectively received by the aperture. The hinge system can include a cam lever, which can extend from the first mounting plate at an angle. The cam lever can be moveable between a first position to retract the pin from the aperture and a second position to lock the pin in the aperture. The cam lever can be operable in a substantially single plane of motion.
Abstract:
Provided is a fitting adjustment structure for a lid in which, before a frame and a lid are incorporated into an opening portion, a height of a stopper can be adjusted with the lid being closed, to thereby eliminate the need for adjustment after the incorporation. The fitting adjustment structure for the lid includes: the opening portion formed on a panel; the lid which turns to open and close the opening portion; and the frame which is placed along a periphery of the opening portion, and supports the lid, in which: a screw hole is pierced in the frame; a stopper having an upper surface which abuts against a rear surface of the lid in a closed state is screwed with the screw hole; and a turning operation portion engageable with a rotating tool is provided at a lower end of the stopper.
Abstract:
A system for moving a door between open and closed positions to selectively allow access to an enclosed space. The system comprising a door, the door being slidably movable between a first closed position and a second open position, the door being operative to close an opening to an enclosed space, an actuator operative to initiate movement of the door from its first closed position toward its second open position, and a control unit, the control unit including a motor, the control unit being responsive to initial movement of the door and being operative to actuate the motor, the motor being selectively operative to slidingly move the door toward the open position in response to the initial door movement after the door has initially moved from its closed position

Abstract:
A hinge wing comprises a cup intended for being fixed in a hole of a furniture component, the wing being provided with a pair of expandable teeth arranged on opposite sides of the cup, said teeth being fixed on an eccentric lever of the wing, by rotating which the teeth are moved in an opposite direction to the direction of insertion of the cup into the respective receiving hole, the wing comprising for each tooth a cam that, upon rotation of the eccentric lever, causes the respective tooth to expand against a side wall of the receiving hole of the cup to fix the cup to the furniture component. Each cam is formed with a cam element of yieldable material interposed between a side wall of the cup and the respective tooth.
Abstract:
A hinge device of a steam oven door comprises a mount provided with a slide slot thereon, which is installed on an inner lateral wall of an oven case. A roller wheel is slidably mounted in the slide slot. One side of the mount is pivotally installed with a rotary beam provided with a spring; the free end of the spring is fixed on the lateral wall of the oven case. The opposite side of the mount is provided with a push beam with one end pivotally connected to the roller wheel and the rotary beam. The rotary beam is pivotally connected to a link beam with second end pivotally connected to a curved element, whose one end is in turn pivotally connected to the mount. The other end of the curved element is pivotally connected to a transmission beam.
