    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To superimpose a supervisory signal and a control signal on a clock signal with a power supply superimposed thereon by a simple configuration wherein a mediation station is provided in place of a control section and a master station. SOLUTION: A mediation station 13 transmits a supervisory signal that is transmitted from a predetermined apparatus 12 to be controlled as a control signal to the previously corresponding device 12 to be controlled. A mediation input section 139 extracts the supervisory signal composed of a current signal superimposed on a signal transmitted through a data signal line for each cycle of a clock. A mediation station output section 135 fetches the supervisory signal as a control signal for each cycle of the clock and outputs a control signal composed of a pulsewidth-modulated voltage signal to the data signal line in the same cycle as a cycle wherein the supervisory signal is extracted.     Abstract: A presentation moderator assembly for facilitating nonverbal and nonphysical communication between a moderator and a presenter includes a base unit that is positioned in view of a presenter. The base unit has a first light emitter that is selectively illuminated to communicate to the presenter that the presenter may begin speaking. The base unit has a second light emitter that is selectively illuminated to communicate to the presenter that the presenter should begin finishing speaking. The base unit has a third light emitter that is selectively illuminated to communicate to the presenter to stop speaking. A remote unit is carried by a moderator and the remote unit is in electrical communication with the base unit.     Abstract: The present invention supports the control of a plurality of controlled devices. With three dimensional accelerometer components, detection of a user action on a remote controller and the orientation of the remote controller are viable through small electronic devices. Aspects of the invention are based on the three dimensional accelerometer components to provide a remote controller that can detect the user action. Based on the user action, the remote controller transmits a signal to the controlled device which conveys the corresponding command. A selected controlled device may be matched to the remote controller. The remote controller and controlled device may also support a learning mode, in which the controlled device sends a list of supported commands to the remote controller. The remote controller then matches an associated action with each command in the command list.
