Abstract:
A system for routing electronic mails to one of a plurality of support persons (122, 124) in a processing center (100) is disclosed. Each person has a skill set that is suitable for responding to a certain type of e-mails. The system comprises an e-mail server (102) for receiving the e-mail from a sender, an information extractor (204) for extracting relevant information from the e-mail, and a router (116) for routing the e-mail. The system contains a database (114) for storing information related to all persons who can answer e-mails. The system also contains a server (112) for storing the history of all activities in the system. The router (116) can make routing decisions and perform load-balancing and alert functions based on the information stored in the database (114) and the server (130).
Abstract:
An arrangement for providing interactive services between a service provider (100) and a subscriber. A subscriber telephone terminal (120) recevies display data over a telephone network (101, 102, 103) from the service provider (100). A graphics device (130) couples to terminal (120) for processing the display data and generating a video signal for display on a subscriber's display device (150). Terminal (120) also has a telephone keypad and a response generator for enabling a subscriber to generate responses for conveying back over the telephone network to service provider (100). Display data may be transported as modem tones, and subscriber responses as DTMF tones.
Abstract:
A communication system particularly for managing voice, video and data services between the station of an operator and the station of a user, the system comprising: - at least one device (1, 1a, 1b) controlled by the operator to receive telephone calls forwarded by a call routing center (2); and - at least one unit (3, 3a, 3b) that is controlled by the user and is provided with means for entering and displaying information and generating telephone calls;
the at least one device (1, 1a, 1b) comprising furthermore: - means for disabling the audio component of a telephone call generated by the at least one unit (3, 3a, 3b) and - means for establishing with the at least one unit (3, 3a, 3b) a video call, the video call being associated uniquely with the telephone call.
Abstract:
In an example embodiment, when an incoming video call associated with a hunt list is received, the call is first routed to recipients in the hunt list who are capable of receiving a video call. After the call is routed to recipients in the hunt list who are capable of receiving a video call, the call is routed to recipients in the hunt list who are incapable of receiving a video call.
Abstract:
A portable terminal with a telephone or radio communication function, a call response message transmitting method and a server for, when the user cannot answer an incoming call, enabling the user of the portable terminal to inform the caller of his/ her situation that does not allow him/ her to answer the call. A portable terminal comprises a storage for storing information on different types of messages each being associated with an image in a prescribed pose or gesture and a camera section for shooting an image when a call is received. The portable terminal recognizes the pose or gesture from an image shot by the camera section, and selecting a message corresponding to the recognized pose or gesture from the storage, and transmits the selected message to a calling terminal.
Abstract:
An implementation method, apparatus and system for Computer-Supported Telecommunications Applications (CSTA) are disclosed by the present invention. The method includes that a Soft Automatic Call Distribution (SoftACD) receives a conference operation request issued by a Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) server, wherein the conference operation request carries conference picture parameter; according to the conference picture parameter, the SoftACD executes a multi-media operation of a multi-picture at a multi-media conference. Adopting the method, the apparatus or the system of the present invention, it is possible, at the same time of or after creating the multi-media conference, to display videos, background audios, texts and images, or define video output, or implement video recording and other multi-media functions at the multi-media conference.
Abstract:
A method, a multimedia network gateway control device and an application server for implementing intercommunication of color ring back tone are provided. When the user of the circuit switched domain initiates a call to the user of multimedia ring back tone in the multimedia subsystem, the multimedia ring back tone service is triggered. The method includes the following steps: receiving the signal sent by the multimedia ring back tone application server (201), the signal including the information of the video ring back tone; if determining to play the video ring back tone to the calling terminal, informing the mobile services switching center to connect the calling terminal (202). The multimedia gateway control device includes: the receiving unit, the determining unit, and the informing unit. The multimedia ring back tone application server includes: the receiving unit, the determining unit, and the adding or connecting unit. The problem of playing the video ring back tone when the user of Circuit Switched domain calls the user of IMS domain at that time of network intercommunication is resolved.
