Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology notifying a user of what is told by other user while a user does not particpate in voice group communication. SOLUTION: In a mobile communication apparatus 100A, a display information request section 109a requests character data for a server 400 through a transmitting section 101a (step S106). A display section 103 displays character data received from the server 400 (step S108). When a user selects desired character data, by operating a control section 106 while the character data is displayed, a voice data request section 109b requests voice data corresponding to the selected character data for the server 400 through the transmitting section 101a (step S109). A reproducing section 108 reproduces the voice data received from the server 400 (step S111). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for providing a textual representation of a voice message, which is applicable to a mobile apparatus and does not require a bulk memory or power consumption, to the mobile device. SOLUTION: When it is detected that a user originates a call using a communication device and a called communication device is operating in a silent mode, a communication station prompts the user of the communication device which originated the call, to input a voice message. The communication station converts the inputted voice message to phonemes to generate a text representation of the voice message and transmits it to the called communication device. The text representation of the voice message includes characters based on the phonemes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
A messaging system for receiving speech over a telephone and converting the speech to text includes a first server for receiving speech input by a user, a speech recognition system for converting the speech to text, a speech synthesizer for converting the text to speech for playing back the synthesized speech for correction by the user and a correction mechanism for enabling the user to correct the speech such that the corrected speech is provided as text for transmittal over a communication system.
