A masterbatch composition is provided, comprising about 0.001% to about 70% by weight of an organic peroxide homogeneously dispersed in a polycaprolactone carrier. The peroxide master-batches are safer and easier to store, ship, handle and use than the peroxides from which they are made.

The present invention relates to a novel antioxidant-peroxide compound of Structure A, in which the definitions of X, Y, R, An, x, and y are given in the Summary of the Invention section, for example, t-butyl peroxy-3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate, processes for producing polymeric compositions of enhanced oxidative stability via initiation of polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, curing of elastomers and unsaturated polyester resins, modification of polypropylene and other polymers and copolymers, and crosslinking of olefin polymers and copolymers, and the resulting polymers having enhanced oxidative stability.

A multiple, parallel packed column vaporizer (10) for vaporizing a chemical having a relatively low decomposition temperature includes a shell (12); a plurality of parallel, vertically oriented vaporization columns (34) arranged in the shell, each vaporization column having inner walls and upper (14) and lower (16) open ends; a distribution assembly (152) for distributing the chemical substantially equally to the open upper ends (14) of the vaporization columns (34), which flows downwardly therein; a fluid heat exchanger which heats the vaporization columns to provide the heat needed to vaporize the chemical therein; and a gas supply (132) which supplies the gas to the lower ends (16) of the vaporization columns (34) so that the chemical is vaporized and becomes entrained in the gas and is carried upwardly out of the vaporizer (10).

Abstract:
Novel electrodeposited chromium layers, processes for their electrodepositions and plating baths suitable for use therein are disclosed. The chromium layers are bright, adherent, smooth, hard, wear resistant, exhibit a low coefficient of friction, thus, providing increased life and efficiency for devices employing the layers as wear surfaces, and are capable of being formed at both high and low current densities.
