The invention relates to a connection device (1) for pipe lines (2), comprising a connection element (6) that has a receiving opening (4) for a pipe line (2) to be inserted with a line end (2a), and a retainer element that is mounted within said receiving opening (4) in order to stop the inserted line end (2a) from being pulled out. Said retainer element is designed as a spring-elastic toothed ring (8) that has an outer circumferential region (8a) and a plurality of retainer teeth (8b) which are distributed across the circumference and which extend radially inwards and at an incline in the pipe insertion direction (X) and act force and/or form-fittingly against the line end (2a). Inside said connection element (6), the toothed ring (8) is mounted with its outer circumferential region (8a) having a limited axial movement play that is defined by contact sections (12, 14) on either side. At the transition region (15) between the outer circumferential region (8a) and the retainer teeth (8b), the toothed ring (8) interacts with a circumferential tilt edge (16) which is provided inside the connection element (6) such that as a result of said line end (2a) resting against the retainer teeth (8b) when it is inserted, the toothed ring (8) can first pivot in a rocking manner about the tilt edge (16) out of a position in which its outer circumferential region (8a) is pressed against the first, lower contact section (12) in the insertion direction (X), and until said outer circumferential region (8a) comes to rest against, and is supported on, the second, upper contact section (14) which lies axially opposite, the retainer teeth (8b) which project radially inwards above the tilt edge (16) being able to be elastically deformed by bending.

A flareless pipe coupling structure according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a fitting main body 1, a coupling member 2 threaded to the fitting main body 1, and a ferrule 3. The ferrule 3 is located forward of a pipe coupling portion 23 of the coupling member 2. A partition lid 4 serving as a protective member is detachably mounted to the pipe coupling portion 23 to cover the ferrule 3. The partition lid 4, which closes a pipe insertion port 16 when no pipe is connected, can function as a protective member. The partition lid 4 includes, for example, a cylindrical wall 42 having an internal space for accommodating the ferrule 3, and a closing wall 41 that closes one end of the cylindrical wall 42 and closes the pipe insertion port 16 of the fitting main body 1.

The coupler insert (100) includes a conduit support insert (110) configured to be retained in a coupler bore (151) of the coupler (150) and a conduit support (140) configured to fit into and be retained by the conduit support insert (110). The conduit support (140) is configured to generate a first audible sound when inserted to a first insertion point in the conduit support insert (110) and is configured to generate a second audible sound when inserted to a second insertion point.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to methods for protecting a threaded end of a tubular member and sealingly engaging the tubular member to prevent liquid or debris contamination of the threaded end. In the preferred embodiments, the methods comprise the use of a tubular member thread protector that includes a protector body having an open end providing access to an interior and a closed end. The open end is adapted to accept the threaded end portion of the tubular member. The exterior surface of the protector body has a seal groove located proximate to the open end of the protector. A compliant seal is adapted to attach to the seal groove on the body and extend over the open end of the body and sealingly engage the outer surface of the tubular member.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein System (1) aus einem Ventil (2), das mit einem Ende (3) mit der Leitung (4) eines geschlossenen Fluidkreislaufs verbunden ist, und aus einer Schutzkappe (5), die auf das freie Ende (6), also auf das nicht mit der Leitung (4) verbundene Ende (3) des Ventils (2) aufgeschraubt oder aufgesteckt ist. Das freie Ende (6) des Ventils (2) ist nach Entfernen der Schutzkappe (5) mit einer Befüll- und/oder Absaugvorrichtung verbindbar und weist zu diesem Zweck ein zur Arretierung der Befüll- und/oder Absaugvorrichtung notwendiges und über eine bestimmte Länge entsprechend ausgebildetes Außenprofil (7) auf. The present invention relates to a valve for containers of pressurized fluids with dirt blocking device, comprising a valve body that forms a cylindrical inlet (3) inside which there is a cylindrical cavity in which a flow control element (4) can perform an axial translational motion, the flow control element defining an interspace (5) with the internal surface of the cylindrical cavity. The flow control element (4) can be arranged, in the closed position, substantially flush with the axial end of the cylindrical inlet (3). The particularity of the invention is constituted by the fact that it comprises a dirt blocking device (10) for the removable closure of the interspace (5), which has at least one portion (11) that yields elastically when the male coupling element is inserted in the cylindrical cavity.
