The invention relates to a contact means (100) for attaching an end of a cable (110). The contact means (100) has a casing (300) with an inner chamber (320) for receiving a section of the cable (110) in the region of the cable end, a pull relief element (200, 201, 202, 203) which can be fastened to the casing (300) in the inner chamber (320), with a pull relief section (220, 221, 222, 223) and at least one contacting section (240, 241), a contact insert (400), a first contact element (520) which can be arranged in the contact insert (400), and a second contact element (510) which can be connected to a line (140, 610). The pull relief section (220, 221, 222, 223) of the pull relief element (200, 201, 202, 203) is formed to fix a cable sheath (120) of the cable (110). The contacting section (240, 241) of the pull relief element (200, 201, 202, 203) is formed to contact a shield (130) of the cable (110). The first and second contact elements (510, 520) can be plugged together to produce an electrical connection. The first contact element (520) has a central contact section (541) and two resilient contact sections (545) arranged laterally from the central contact section (541).

Described is an electric machine (1) in a vehicle, in particular a starter or a starting device for starting an internal combustion engine, comprising a first electric terminal (2) and at least one second electric terminal (3). In order to make it easier and less expensive to design and assemble the electric machine in a vehicle, the at least two electric terminals (2, 3) are arranged such that an electric connection to the at least two terminals (2, 3) can be established by means of a connecting device that forms a unit and has at least two electric power cables.

The invention relates to a connecting device (2) for an electric motor, particularly an external rotor motor, to connect ends of a stator winding to a connecting lead (65). Said connecting device (2) is composed of a wiring plate (4) which is arranged on a plane extending in a radial direction relative to the stator axis and within a circumferential circle defined by a stator diameter, and which is provided with terminal areas for contacting the connecting lead (65) as well as shaped strip conductor guides (14) and strip conductors (6) with terminal lugs (38) for contacting the stator winding. A plug element (10) is provided which can be pre-assembled on the connecting lead (65) and comprises insulation displacement contacts (68) that contact the connecting lead (65). The plug element (10) can be mounted on the wiring plate (4) parallel to the stator axis such that the insulation displacement contacts (68) contact the terminal areas of the strip conductors (6) embodied as contacting sections (32a, 32b).

To provide an electric compressor with improved workability to connect an end of a stator winding with fastening terminals so that electrical connection can be established between the stator winding and the sealed terminal. The electric compressor includes lug terminal strips to be connected electrically to ends of lead wires each covered with an insulating tube, and fastening terminals connected through the lug terminal strips to the sealed terminal for supplying power to the electric elements, the lug terminal strips manufactured with press molding each including a pair of conductor pressing portions, a cylindrical portion formed on one side of the conductor pressing portions, and a pair of insulating film fixing portions formed on the other side of the conductor pressing portions so that the fastening terminal can be connected to the cylindrical portion by pressing the conductor pressing portions onto the stator winding and fixing the insulating film fixing portions to the insulating tube with pressure welding.

A hermetic terminal (42) for carrying electric current into the housing (12) of a hermetic compressor (10), including a metallic body member (48) formed with three collar portions (52) that define apertures (54) through which respective fusible terminal pin assemblies (56) extend. Each terminal pin assembly includes two electrically conducting pin segments (60, 62) interconnected by an electrically insulating sleeve member (68) having opposite open ends into which respective ends of each pin segment are telescopingly received. The sleeve member and pin segments define a closed cavity (70) in which a cylindrical fusible link (64) is disposed. Opposite ends (61, 63) of the fusible link are received within respective counterbores (65, 66) in axial ends of the pin segments within the closed cavity, and are retained therein by a brazed joint. Each pin assembly is sealingly retained within a respective collar portion of the terminal body by a glass seal (76), which contacts the insulating sleeve and optionally surrounds one of the joints between the insulating sleeve and the pin segments.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Stromdurchführung, insbesondere für Kältemaschinen, mit einem von elektrisch leitenden Stiften (3) durchsetzten Isolierkörper. Die bekannten aus Glas bestehenden Isolierkörper, in welche die Stifte eingeschmolzen sind, haben u.a. den Nachteil, daß sich beim Einschweißen der Durchführung Mikrobeschädigungen ergeben. Auch durch die ungenügende Austrocknung des üblicherweise verwendeten Sinterglases besteht die Gefahr einer großen Porosität, was zu elektrischen Durchschlägen führen kann. Außerdem ist die Herstellung relativ teuer und umständlich. Um eine preisgünstig herzustellende, im Aufbau einfache und völlig isolierte Durchführung zu schaffen, wird nach der Erfindung ein scheibenförmiger Sockel (8) mit ein oder mehreren, die Stifte (3) aufnehmenden Noppen (2) verwendet, der aus temperaturbeständigem, gegen Chemikalien unempfindlichem und mindestens leicht elastischem Material, insbes. Elastomere, Thermoplast od. dgl. besteht.
