PURPOSE: A method for preparing green tea polysaccharide is provided to shorten manufacturing time and improve economic efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing green tea polysaccharide comprises: a step of removing chlorophyll and polyphenol of low molecule using solvent; a step of extracting water-soluble active ingredient at 30-40°C from the green tea; and a step of isolating green tea polysaccharide through ultrafiltration and ethanol precipitation. The solvent is hexane, ethanol or methanol. The cosmetic composition is used for skin whitening, moisturization or anti-wrinkle.

PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory composition and wound healing composition containing medicinal herb extract is provided to suppress inflammation-relating factors and promote reepithelization of wound. CONSTITUTION: A skin external composition contains medicinal herb extract selected from pine, corni Fructus, ganoderma or Scutellariae Radix as an active ingredient. The active ingredient is contained in 0.001~15 weight% based on the total weight. The composition is used for anti-inflammation or wound healing.

A method for fermenting a natural product in salt is provided to prevent the effective components included in the natural product from being deteriorated while restraining the decay and contamination of the product caused by Escherichia coli or anaerobic bacteria. A method for fermenting a natural product in salt comprises the following steps of: adding salt to medicinal herbs or grains and ripening and fermenting at the temperature of 4-40°C for 1 month ~ 1 year; and extracting the salted medicinal herbs or grains in water or organic solvent and obtaining a fermented extract. The medicinal herbs are selected from the group consisting of citrus junos, Astragali radix, Carthami flos, Angelicae gigantis radix, Zingiberis rhizoma crudus, Platicodi radix and Ponciri fructus. The grains are selected from the group consisting of soybean, rice, barley and wheat. The salt is selected among sodium chloride, bay salt, rock salt and bamboo salt. The amount of the salt used is 10-30wt% on a gross weight basis of the fermented extract. The organic solvent is selected from the group consisting of methanol, ethanol, glycerin, ethyl acetate, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, dichloromethane and hexane.

A cosmetic composition and a method of Citrus junos or Ponciri Fructus fermentation extract are provided to cause no skin irritation and to suppress melanogenesis of skin induced by UV or inflammation by comprising Citrus junos or Ponciri Fructus fermentation extract as active ingredient. A cosmetic composition comprises Citrus junos or Ponciri Fructus fermentation extract of 0.1~10 weight% as active ingredient based on total weight of the cosmetic composition. A method of Citrus junos or Ponciri Fructus fermentation extract comprises steps of: 1) adding salt in the Citrus junos or the Ponciri Fructus and fermenting it; 2) and extracting the fermented product using water or organic solvent. In the step 1), a used amount of the salt is 10~30 weight% based on total weight of the fermented product.

A composition comprising an extract of Scrophularia buergeriana Miq. and an extract of poria cocos wolf is provided to prevent or improve skin dryness, atopic dermatitis, cotagious dermatitis or eczema and be usefully used as a cosmetic or a pharmaceutical composition for reinforcing skin barrier function and inducing skin keratinocyte differentiation. A skin external application composition for moisturizing comprises 0.0001-30 wt.% of an extract of Scrophularia buergeriana Miq. as an effective ingredient. The composition further comprises an extract of Poria cocos wolf. In the composition, the extract of the Scrophularia buergeriana Miq. is prepared by extracting or fractionating the Scrophularia buergeriana Miq. with a solvent selected from the group consisting of water, ethanol, methanol, hexane, ethylacetate and butanol. Further, the skin external application composition is used as ointment, gel, cream or powder.

A method for preparing a retinoic acid derivative includes the steps of: (i) reacting retinoic acid with alkylchloroformate to prepare an anhydride compound represented by the following formula 2; and (ii) reacting the prepared anhydride compound with an amine hydrochloride represented by the following formula 3 to prepare the retinoic acid derivative represented by the following formula 1. In the formulae, R1 is hydrogen, linear or branched C1-7 alkyl or C3-7 cycloalkyl, R2 is hydroxyl, linear or branched C1-7 alkyl substituted by 1-4 hydroxyl groups, or linear branched C1-5 alkyl substituted by hydroxy pyranone, and R3 is C1-7 alkyl.

A hydroxycinnamic acid derivative compound is provided to realize improved anti-oxidation property and skin permeability, effects of inhibiting active oxygen and melanin generation and stimulating procollagen generation, thereby providing a cosmetic composition for improving wrinkles and whitening. A hydroxycinnamic acid derivative compound has an adamantyl amide linking group and is represented by the following formula I. In formula I, R1 is H or a C1-C7 alkyl group; and A is -CH=CH- or -CH2-CH2-. The hydroxycinnamic acid derivative compound is obtained by the method comprising the steps of: (1) substituting the hydroxyl group of hydroxycinnamic acid with an acetyl group to provide an acetylated compound; (2) reacting the acetylated compound with ethyl chloroformate and oleophilic group-containing adamantanamine to provide an amide compound; and (3) hydrolyzing the acetyl group of the amide compound.

Porous silica complex powder is provided to have an excellent performance in moisturizing and water retention, by adsorbing or collecting pentaerythritol derivatives and higher alcohol or polyol on porous silica. Complex powder is prepared by adsorbing or collecting pentaerythritol derivatives and higher alcohol or polyol containing 16-22 carbons on porous silica. The higher alcohol is 2-octyl dodecanol. The polyol is selected from a group consisting of dipropylene glycol, a sorbitols solution, glycerol, molasses, polyethylene glycol, glucose, propylene glycol, and 1,3-butylene glycol. The pentaerythritol derivatives and the higher alcohol or the polyol are mixed at a weight ratio of 1:0.1-0.6. Further, a particle size of the complex powder is 0.2-50mum, and a pore of the complex powder is 1-50nm.
