Abstract:
A cutting method in which nonaqueous cutting fluid is used, and an aqueous solution is sprayed or jetted to the position being cut. Recovered liquid is stored in one recovery bath. The nonaqueous cutting fluid and the aqueous liquid are separated from each other in accordance with difference in specific gravity, and both of them are re-used. The cutting process is stable because of the use of the nonaqueous fluid, and a good accident preventive measure is provided.
Abstract:
Described is a water-miscible cooling lubricant concentrate which comprises natural or synthetic mineral oils, emulsifying agents, corrosion protection additives, solubilizers, means of preservation, metal inhibitors and other conventional additives, and, after dilution to form a 2 to 25% by weight aqueous solution, has a pH value between 7.0 and 7.5 as well as additionally as means of preservation and/or anticorrosive additive comprises a mixture ofa) a conversion product of boric acid and a primary or tertiary alkanolamine and/orb) an ethoxylated and/or propoxylated fatty acid or a fatty acid alkanolamide as well as at least one further compound selected from the group comprised ofc) a carboxylic acid imide, a phosphoric acid ester, a triazole, a thiadiazole, an isothiazolinone, an imidazole, a guanidine, an aromatic carboxylic acid and the 3-iodo-2-propinyl-carbamate and/ord) a methylol urea derivative.
Abstract:
Waterborne lubricants comprising: (A) water-soluble inorganic salt; (B) homogeneously dispersed solid lubricant; (C) at least one homogeneously emulsified substance selected from mineral oils, animal and plant oils and fats, and synthetic oils; (D) surfactant; and (E) water, in which the weight ratio (B)/(A) is from 0.05:1 to 2:1 and the weight ratio {C/(A + B)} is from 0.05:1 to 1:1, provide a one-step, highly lubricating waterborne lubricant for use in the cold plastic working of metals. This waterborne lubricant can replace the conversion coating treatment (phosphate, oxalate, etc.) + reactive soap treatment combined lubrication system now in general use and is free of the environmental issues associated with the combined lubrication system, provides for facile coating removal, and is not subject to the decline in seizure resistance caused by nonuniform add-on when large numbers of workpieces are treated together by immersion.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A parting agent(or releasing agent) is provided which quality of tire can be improved and cost and quantity of pollutant can be reduced by using. CONSTITUTION: The parting agent comprises: i) a system which includes not less than 2kinds of silicon selected from the group consisting of (A) a silicon component which reacts by a condensation reaction such as polydimethylsiloxane and a cross-likable silicon and (B) a silicon component which reacts by addition reaction such as organopolysiloxane and methyl hydrogen polysiloxane; and ii) an aqueous colloid silica sol which contains 15-40 wt. % of silica sol average size of which is 6-50nm.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A lubricant composition for the plastic processing is provided to give the lubricity to the metal material in the plastic processing with a simple processing of drying after attaching with a spray. CONSTITUTION: The lubricant composition for the plastic processing is composed of the molten or dispersed synthetic resin, water soluble inorganic salt having at least more than one sort from the group made up of a sulfate, a borate and the like, and water, and includes 1 to 20% of at least one sort selected from a group made up of metal soap, wax, polytetrafluoroethylene and oil as the lubricant component.
Abstract:
A lubricating oil composition for working metal which comprises (A) a base oil containing a mineral oil having a kinematic viscosity at 40 DEG C (V40) of 5 to 150 cSt, viscosity-pressure coefficient at 40 DEG C ( alpha 40) satisfying the expression: alpha 40
