Abstract:
An aqueous lubricant for use in plastic working of a metallic material which comprises (A) a water soluble inorganic salt and (B) a wax, wherein the components are dissolved or dispersed in water, and wherein a solid concentration ratio (weight ratio) (B)/(A) is 0. 3 SIMILAR 1.5. and a method for producing a lubricative film, characterized in that a lubricative film is produced by applying the aqueous lubricant, preferably in a dried weight of 0.5 SIMILAR 40g/m , on the surface of a metallic material, providing no chemical conversion layer thereon, followed by drying. The aqueous lubricant preferably further comprises (C) a metal salt of a fatty acid in a solid concentration ratio (C) /(A) of 0.01 SIMILAR 0.4. The water soluble inorganic salt (A) is preferably selected from among a sulfate, a silicate, a borate, a molybdate and a tungstate. The wax is preferably a synthetic wax which is dispersed in water and has a melting point of 70 SIMILAR 150 DEG C. The metal salt of a fatty acid (C) is preferably obtained through reacting a saturated fatty acid having 12 SIMILAR 26 carbon atoms with a metal selected from among zinc, calcium, barium, aluminium, magnesium and lithium. The aqueous lubricant can be used for imparting excellent lubricity with ease to the surface of metal having no chemical conversion layer formed thereon.
Abstract:
The invention is a particulate suspending, antimicrobial concentrate composition. The concentrate may be used in any number of environments including food service and processing environments such as brewing and bottling facilities. Generally the concentrate may be entrained in a product or introduced directly into the environment of use. The concentrate generally comprises an antimicrobial cationic compound such as a quaternary ammonium compound, and a particulate suspending surfactant such as an amphoteric propionic acid salt.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a water-base lubricating fluid or a water-base hydraulic fluid in place of an oily liquid which has been used as a lubricating oil or a hydraulic oil applied onto the operating part of a machine and a device. The lubricating fluid of the present invention comprises fluoride ion, hydrogencarbonate ion, and water-soluble alcohols or their derivatives.
Abstract:
A grease composition for high-temperature, high-speed and high-load bearings comprises (i) a lubricating base oil composed of an alkyldiphenyl ether lubricant as an essential ingredient and having a kinematic viscosity of 90-160 cSt at 40 DEG C., and (ii) 22-30 wt. %, based on the grease composition, of a diurea compound as a thickener. The diurea compound is represented by the following formula:bon group having 6-15 carbon atoms, R1 and R3 denote an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6-12 carbon atoms or a linear alkyl group having 8-20 carbon atoms, and the proportion of aromatic hydrocarbon groups in R1 and R3 is 70-95 mole %. The NLGI thickness grade of said composition is in a range of from No. 1 to No. 3.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water-soluble lubricant for metal working consisting mainly of disodium hydrogenphosphate and a fluorohydrocarbon-based nonionic surfactant and exhibiting excellent lubricating property and rust prevention on metal without causing enviromental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The lubricant consists mainly of disodium hydrogenphosphate and a fluorohydrocarbon-based nonionic surfactant and preferably contains sodium metavanadate and/or sodium molybdate. For preparation, disodium hydrogenphosphate and the surfactant are dissolved in water to produce a liquid lubricant, or the latter is absorbed by the former, or alternatively an aqueous solution containing the two components is condensed to produce a lubricant in powder. PURPOSE: The titled lubricant, prepared by mixing a phosphoric acid (salt) with boric acid (salt), an alkaline metallic salt and a layered silicate in a specific proportion, and having improved lubricity and releasability without causing any smoking or dusting even in a hot state. CONSTITUTION: A lubricant prepared by mixing (A) a water-soluble glass (powder) containing (a) 40W55mol%, expressed in terms of P 2 O 5 , phosphoric acid (salt) (b) 9mol% or less, expressed in terms of B 2 O 3 , one or more salt selected from carbonates nitrates, sulfates and hydroxides of an alkaline metal (M) with (B) ususally 10W60wt% layered silicate, e.g. mica. The component (A) may be in the form of an aqueous solution, and the concentration thereof is usually 2W60wt%. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
