Abstract:
A radiation-sensitive resin composition comprising (A) an alkali-soluble resin having unsaturated groups which is obtained by reacting 100 parts by weight of a copolymer comprising 1 to 40 wt% of constituent units derived from a radical -polymerizable compound (a) having a carboxyl group, 1 to 50 wt% of constituent units having phenolic hydroxyl groups which are derived from a radical-polymerizable compound (b-1) having a phenolic hydroxyl group or a radical-polymerizable compound (b-2) having a functional group which can be converted into phenolic hydroxyl after the formation of the copolymer, and the balance of constituent units derived from other radical -polymerizable compound (c) with 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of a radical-polymerizable compound (d) having an epoxy group, (B) a compound having at least one ethylenically unsaturated double bond, and (C) a polymerization initiator for radiation- initiated radical polymerization. The composition is characterized by forming a radiation-sensitive resin coating film having a thickness larger than the height of a deposit and high resolution.

A composition for forming a photosensitive dielectric material containing inorganic particles, a resin capable of being developed with an alkaline reagent and an additive, wherein the additive comprises (C1) a compound having a quinonediazide group, (C2) a compound having at least two amino groups modified so as to have an alkyl ether moiety and (C3) a thermosensitive acid-generating agent, or wherein the composition comprises (A-I) an ultra-fine inorganic powder having an average particle diameter of less than 0.05 mum and (A-II) a fine inorganic powder having an average particle diameter of 0.05 mum or more; and a dielectric material and electronic parts formed from the composition. The above composition allows the formation of a dielectric material layer which is reduced in heat loss, is capable of being fired at a reduced temperature and has a high dielectric constant, with good dimensional accuracy.

The invention aims at providing an acrylic rubber which can give rubber articles excellent in fuel resistance and tensile strength and is crosslinkable with sulfur and/or an organic peroxide; a process for production thereof; rubber compositions; oil- and weather-resistant rubber compositions; and oil- and weather-resistant rubbers. The acrylic rubber comprises 40 to 91.9 % by mass of structural units derived from at least one monomer selected from among alkyl acrylates and alkoxyalkyl acrylates, 8 to 40 % by mass of structural units derived from an unsaturated nitrile monomer, and 0.1 to 20 % by mass of structural units derived from at least one monomer selected from among nonconjugated cyclopolyenes and compounds having specific structures (with the proviso that the total amount of the structural units is 100 % by mass) and exhibits a Mooney viscosity [ML1+4 (100°C)] of 10 to 200.
Abstract:
An optical switching system is divided into a plurality of blocks, an opto−electronic layer in which an optical switch or a variable wavelength filter belonging to each block is disposed is formed, and respective opto−electronic layers are stacked to build a three−dimensional micro−optical switching system (3D−MOSS) with optical connections used to optically connect between opto−electronic layers. A method of building the system comprising the first step of selectively exposing a bonding layer of which the adhesive strength changes by light irradiation, the second step of bringing the selectively exposed bonding layer into contact with a thin−film element array on a first substrate, and the third step of selectively transferring part of the thin film element from the first substrate onto the selectively exposed bonding layer according to an exposure pattern.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal alignment agent for the vertical alignment of a liquid crystal which comprises a polymer having specific two types of amic acid recurring unit and an imidated recurring unit. The liquid crystal alignment agent is excellent in capability of aligning a liquid crystal vertically and is reduced with respect to the time required for erasing an afterimage, and thus can be suitably used for a liquid crystal display element of MVA type.

Disclosed are an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer which exhibits rubber elasticity, flexibility, moldability, and processability equivalent to those of olefinic thermoplastic elastomers of the prior art and has good mechanical characteristics and wear resistance, particularly excellent mar resistance, and a process for the production thereof; compositions containing the elastomer, and a process for producing them; and molded articles of the elastomer or the compositions. The elastomer is essentially composed of an olefin random copolymer comprising ethylene, an &agr;−olefin having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, an unsaturated monomer having a functional group, and, if necessary, a nonconjugated diene, and metal ions crosslinking the random copolymer.
