Abstract: A handover method of a MS, a system and a device thereof are provided in the embodiments of the present invention, the method including: a serving multi-hop relay base station MR-BS receiving handover assistant information sent by a RS; the serving MR-BS determining whether to recommend the RS as a target station to the MS according to the handover assistant information. In the present invention, it could make the serving MR-BS get the relevant information from the RS, and make the serving MR-BS of the MS better determine the potential target station recommended to the MS and other relevant information, so that the handover quality of the MScould be increased and the handover failure ratio could be reduced.

Abstract: In the implementation a bandwidth requesting method and a relay station RS are provided. After receiving the bandwidth requesting message sent from the previous hop network entity, the relay station RS judges whether it has available bandwidth currently. If there is available bandwidth, bandwidth requesting message is sent to the next hop network entity through the currently available bandwidth. Or ranging code requesting bandwidth allocation is sent to the next hop network entity. Then bandwidth requesting message is sent to the next hop network entity through bandwidth allocated by the uplink mapping message returned by the base station. The method in this implementation accelerates the bandwidth requesting process.

The neighbor BS combines the report received, and sends it to the MS, so the second united process of using the united neighbor station as a RS is achieved.
