    Abstract: PURPOSE: A process for producing algin salt added potato jam is provided, which is obtained by mixing potato with algin salt extracted to sea tangle. CONSTITUTION: The algin salt added potato jam is produced by the following steps of: peeling off potatoes and chipping them off; dipping potatoes in water from washing rice for getting rid of solanine and wring water out of potatoes by 35-55 wt.% in a compressor: adding 55-70 wt.% sugar, based on the total weight of potatoes, followed by adding 3 wt.% glucose and 7 wt.% starch syrup, based on the total weight of potatoes; pickling them for 2-5 hours; and adding algin salt to the mixture, followed by steam boiled algin added potatoes. The algin salt added potato jam contains fiber, calcium, iodine, sodium, and mineral.

The basket is covered with a net across its circumference including the front surface and the rear surface thereof.
