Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for a prevention and treatment agent of creased stem using SiO2 as a main ingredient. SiO2 has prevention and treatment effects on the creased stem phenomenon in crops. CONSTITUTION: A method for the prevention and treatment of creased stem using SiO2 as main ingredient is composed of the following steps of: (a) adding 4g of SiO2 into 20 liter of water and dissolving it; (b) completely dissolving undissolved particles by adding sodium hydroxide in a small amount; and (c) filtering SiO2-dissolved liquid by passing it through ion-exchange resin, and optionally followed by adding B and Zn liquid, which are essential in the growth of corps, in a small amount.
