Abstract: A mobile phone and an information protecting method thereof are provided to enable a microcomputer to transmit personal information corresponding to a personal information list out of personal information stored in a memory with an E-mail address prestored in the memory to a mobile communication server, clear all personal information stored in the memory and enable the mobile communication server to convert and transmit the personal information to the E-mail address, thereby preventing the use of the personal information by stealth. The mobile communication server transmits the ID number for authentication, an information list to be received, and an instruction for information transmission to the lost mobile phone(S322).
