    Abstract: Cover (1) adapted to be opened/closed in order to cover and open, respectively, an inspection opening (6) in a protective structure (2 adapted for protecting an installation under the sea surface against mechanical impacts. The cover is along one edge provided with an outwardly protruding lug (12) and/or at least one inwardly directed recess (13), and the side edges of the inspection opening (6) are made with a complementary shape. Thus, the cover edge and the edge of the cover opening fit together in a complementing manner. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a cover so that it fits the cover opening.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling device including a coupling part provided with a coupling member and having an internal bore extending through the coupling part and its coupling member, wherein the coupling part is provided with a valve, which includes a valve body displaceably arranged inside the internal bore and a spring member acting on the valve body, the valve body being displaceable against the action of the spring member from a first position to a second position. The valve includes a housing fixed inside the internal bore, the housing being provided with a cavity accommodating the spring member and a part of the valve body. The cavity is in fluid communication with an orifice at the end of the valve facing the free end of the coupling member so as to allow the cavity to be in fluid communication with the surroundings via the orifice when the coupling member is out of engagement with a corresponding coupling member.

    Abstract: A power supply assembly, which is placed subsea and is connected to an umbilical from a platform, supplies electrical power to subsea equipment. The power supply assembly supplies power during drilling operations to a pump for pumping drilling fluid from the sea floor to the sea surface. During production operations, the power supply assembly provides power to a booster pump to pump the well fluid away from the subsea well for collection. The subsea power supply assembly optionally also provides power to electrically charged portions of subsea separators that remove water from the oil in the well fluid. The booster pump the pumps the oil from the separator away from the subsea wellhead for collection.

The sheets of the unit are supplied with an electrical potential to force the water droplets into predetermined passage portions to form high water content sections of liquid. Bypass valves allow backflushing of one of the separators while others continue to operate.
