    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately fix the distance of a contact element in the row direction by installing a supporting point each in the front wall and the rear wall of a housing, installing a shielding plate in the rear wall in at least one of housings, and eliminating the interference between the shielding plate and the supporting point of the rear wall. SOLUTION: A circular projection 19 is formed in the front wall 5 and the rear wall 6. A projecting stripe 21 is formed in the lower parts of the front wall 5 and the rear wall 6. A shielding plate is fixed to the rear wall 6 of each module. Five bent lips are fixed to the top end of the shielding plate, and the shielding plate is fixed to the rear wall 6 by interposing the top end of the rear wall 6 between the lips. An opening for housing the projection is formed in the shielding plate, and the thickness of the shielding plate is decided so that the projection always projects from the outer surface of the shielding plate even if the production error is considered.

SOLUTION: This multifiber connector plug comprises a connector plug part 6 which accepts plural optical fibers, a coupler and a coupling sleeve 19. This connector plug part 6 is provided with a contact surface 7 at its one end and is slidably inserted into the coupler. The connector plug part is projected to the outer side of the coupler 10 at the end having the contact surface 7. Corresponding spring member apply load toward an outer direction on the connector plug part.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily disengage a sleeve from a wedge by providing the wedge with a locked step at the side end of a folded sheet metal member inside the 'C' shaped connector sleeve. SOLUTION: A connector 10 has a wedge 14 inside a 'C' shaped connector sleeve 12. The wedge 14 has a locked step 60 formed at the side 62 of one folded sheet metal member. The sleeve 12 has two mutually opposed electric conductor housings 16, 18. When conductors A, B are coupled via the connector 10, the locked step 60 is located in a slot 30 and a locking wall 32 locks the side 62 to prevent the wedge 14 from being pulled off the sleeve 12. When the wedge 14 is intended to be pulled off the sleeve 12, a loop 38 is laterally moved to the opening side of the sleeve 2 to pull the wedge 14 off the sleeve 12 while passing the side 62 through the slot. In this way, easy disengagement is ensured.

CONSTITUTION: The end part of a holding device 10 coupling a first member 24 with a second member 36 is provided with two separated cantilever arms which apply to insertion and locking into a hole 34 of the second member 36, and have first outer cam surfaces 38, second outer cam surfaces 40, and inner cam surfaces 42. When the arms are inserted into the hole 34, the inner cam surfaces 42 are contacted each other with a bend of the arms by contact of the first outer cam surfaces 38 with the second member 36. When the arms are further inserted, the second outer cam surfaces 40 are bent mutually by contact with the second member 36. Then, the first outer cam surfaces 38 are moved outward by mutual cam actions on the inner cam surfaces 42.

CONSTITUTION: An electronic component 10 is constituted of respective two parallel mother and daughter printed circuit boards 14, 16 and 18, 20, and the boards 18 and 20 are connected and maintained on two electric connectors 12 connected to the board 14. The connector 12 connects the solder-attached end part 2 of a contact shoe contacting the male type contact parts of the boards 18 and 20 respectively, and maintains the boards 18 and 20 at about a 30 deg.C angle to the board 14 by a receiving region and inward grooves in both ends. Also, the boards 18 and 20 are locked and ejected to the connector 12 by ejectors 22 in both the ends of the connector 12. Consequently, the boards 18 and 20 can be inserted, mounted, and ejected between the boards 14 and 16 having an about 0.8 in. center-to-center dimension A, thereby compactly constituting the component 10.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an electrical connector for receiving an electronic module by providing a header and ejection mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A connector 10 is provided with a frame 12, an electric contact piece 14 and an ejection mechanism 16. The frame 12 is provided with a header 18 and two side arms 20, 21 with some intervals. The contact piece 14 has the end part 24 for connecting to a print wiring board and the end part 26 for connecting to the electronic module and is installed to the header 18 in a securing state. The header 18 constitutes a receiving area 28 in which the end part 26 of the contact piece 14 as well as card are inserted. The frame 12 has a groove 38 for receiving an ejection member 40 movably. A control member 50 is installed slidably to an ejector housing 48 in a longitudinal direction.
