    Abstract: A dust-proof sensing device includes a mechanical body, a feeding path, a first photoelectric sensor disposed above the feeding path, a second photoelectric sensor disposed under the feeding path, and an upper bracket. The mechanical body has a feeding path. The upper bracket is mounted above the feeding path. The upper bracket has an upper fastening portion fastened to the mechanical body, an upper wedging portion fastened at the upper fastening portion, an L-shaped upper light guiding holder fastened at the upper fastening portion, and a first light guider fastened at the upper light guiding holder. The upper fastening portion has a first inclined section. An inner edge of an upper surface of the first inclined section is intersected with a top edge of an inner surface of the upper wedging portion to form a clamping angle.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a main body, a base, a holder and a connecting rod. The main body has a bottom surface, a top surface, a lower surface, a paper outlet and a paper inlet. The base has a bottom board being adjacent to the paper outlet, at least one vertical board being connected to the bottom board and being pivoted on the main body, and a first hinge being located at the bottom board. The holder has a beam, at least one support arm being connected to the beam, and a second hinge being located at the beam. The tip portion is higher than the vertical board. The connecting rod has opposite end portions being pivoted on the first hinge and the second hinge respectively. As described above, the occupying area is further reduced in an unused status.

    Abstract: A thickness detection mechanism arranged in a scanner or printer for measuring the thickness of mediums fed through the scanner or printer, which comprising: a conveyor section; at least a idle roller set arranged above the conveyor section, which includes at least a shaft and an idle roller pivotally arranged on the shaft; at least an elastic portion arranged above the shaft; and at least a pressure sensor secured on the elastic portion; wherein the thickness detection mechanism measures the thickness of the medium by measuring the pressure applied on the pressure sensor by the idle roller set as the idle roller set being pushed upward, and thus avoids the medium too thin or too thick to enter the scanner or the printer.

    Abstract: A pneumatic transmission device includes a transmitting channel, an air inlet and an air supply device. The transmitting channel includes a first feeding path, a second feeding path, and a compressing path communicated between the first feeding path and the second feeding path. The compressing path is gradually inclined downward and rearward from a front end of the compressing path to a rear end of the compressing path. The second feeding path is equipped with a scanning unit. The air inlet is slantwise extended upward and frontward from a top wall of the transmitting channel. An inside of the air inlet defines a passageway. The passageway is connected with the second feeding path. The air supply device is connected to the passageway. The air supply device injects high pressure air into the passageway.

    Abstract: A pickup mechanism includes a paper feeding channel, a pickup roller assembly disposed in the paper feeding channel and projecting beyond a top of the paper feeding channel, a paper tray disposed to an upstream of the pickup roller assembly, and a guiding swing arm assembly. The guiding swing arm assembly includes two guiding swing arms mounted adjacent to and spaced from two opposite sides of the pickup roller assembly. Each guiding swing arm includes a pivoting shaft, a stopping block, and an extending arm connected between the pivoting shaft and the stopping block. The two stopping blocks of the two guiding swing arms are disposed between the pickup roller assembly and the paper tray for blocking paper. An axial direction of the pivoting shaft of each guiding swing arm is deviated from a center axis direction of the pickup roller assembly.

    Abstract: The present invention is related to a scanning device for scanning documents, comprises a flat-bed scanning glass; a contact image sensor arranged above the flat-bed scanning glass separately to form a scanning path therebetween, a bottom surface of the contact image sensor being arranged with a protecting glass, a middle area of the protecting glass being configured as a scanning area, and a chamfer being arranged at the bottom surface of the protecting glass at a downstream position relative to the scanning area. Hence the dust of documents in this invention would be stacked in the chamfer during the scanning process temporarily and then be wiped away by the document itself, so as to assure the dust would not be stacked in the scanning area. The scanning device in this invention is capable to maintain the scanning quality without clearing the dust even after scanned a massive quantity of documents.

    Abstract: A paper pickup mechanism includes a mechanical frame, a pickup roller module, a feeding roller module, a driving device, a separation roller module and an energy storage element. The mechanical frame has a platform. The pickup roller module is pivoted to and connected to the mechanical frame. The feeding roller module is pivoted to and connected to the mechanical frame. The driving device is mounted to the mechanical frame. The separation roller module is pivoted to and connected to the mechanical frame. The energy storage element is mounted between the mechanical frame and the separation roller module. When the separation roller module rotates together with the feeding roller module in a forward direction, the energy storage element accumulates energies. When more than one piece of paper is fed into the paper pickup mechanism, the energy storage element releases the energies.

    Abstract: A paper warping detection device includes an input tray, a processor, a first emitting element, a first receiving element and a first analog-to-digital converter. A first critical value is stored in the processor. The first emitting element is electrically connected with the processor. The first receiving element is disposed to the other side of the input tray. The first receiving element and the first emitting element face each other. When the first emitting element is switched on, the first emitting element emits first ultrasonic wave signals towards the first receiving element. The first analog-to-digital converter is electrically connected with the first receiving element and the processor for converting the first ultrasonic wave signals into first digital signals and outputting the first digital signals to the processor. The processor reads the first digital signals and compares the first digital signals with the first critical value.
