Methods of identifying polymorphisms associated with ataxia-ocular apraxia 2 (AOA2), are described. The polymorphisms associated with AOA2 include specific mutations in the senataxin (SETX) gene. Also described are methods of diagnosis of AOA2, as well as methods of assessing an individual for carrier status for AOA2.
Abstract:
A method to manage nodes in a ZigBee network. In a ZigBee network including a plurality of nodes, a multicast group is generated including at least two nodes among the plurality of the nodes. A multicast group coordinator (GC) which manages the multicast group is set among the nodes forming the multicast group. The multicast group includes the GC, a multicast group member (GM) requesting to join the multicast group, and/or a multicast router (MR) which links GMs to each other or links the GC and the GC. Accordingly, since the GC manages the multicast group, the load is decreased and the packet data transmission rate is enhanced.
Abstract:
A method for enhancing the freeness of pulp made from secondary fiber is provided by adding an enzymatic mixture comprised of cellulase and pectinase enzymes to the pulp and treating under conditions to cause a reaction to produce an enzymatically treated pulp. The freeness of the enzymatically treated pulp is increased from the initial freeness of the secondary fiber pulp without a loss in brightness.
Abstract:
A call processing method, a call processing system and call processing equipment of a same number service are disclosed. The method includes: receiving a call which is initiated by a calling client and carries an initial called number, and sending a message of the called number with a same number service characteristic to first switching equipment in an IP network when the initial called number is a number of the same number service; and receiving a call request initiated by the first switching equipment, starting same number service processing of the initial called number according to the message carried in the call request, and calling a same number terminal corresponding to the initial called number. The embodiment of the invention helps realize the same number service between a SIP intelligent terminal in the IP network and ordinary terminals in other communication networks.

A system includes a mounting device (200), a detecting device (100), and a circuit (300). The mounting device includes a base (210), and a mounting head (220) opposite to the base. The detecting device is fixed on the base, and includes a shell (110) comprising a cavity (112) therein, a probe (130) fixed in the cavity and protruding towards the through hole, and a plug (150) having a pin (152) made of conductive materials. The shell further includes an opening (118) communicating with the cavity, and a through hole (114) formed opposite to the mounting head and communicating with the cavity. The pin is connected to the probe through the opening. The circuit includes a PLC circuit (320), and a power supply (310) connected with the PLC circuit. The pin connects with one of the PLC circuit and power circuit, and the mounting head connects with the remaining one.

Systems and methods are disclosed for providing software performance testing. The results of a test may be determined valid if the test reached a defined test criteria after performing N number of iterations. If the test has not reached the defined test criteria and if N is less than a maximum value, one may be added to N and additional iteration of the test may be performed until the test reaches the defined test criteria or until N reaches the maximum value. If the test reaches the defined test criteria after any additional iteration of the test before N reaches the maximum value, the results of the test may be deemed valid. Moreover, if the test reached the defined test criteria with an outlier removed from the results, the results of the test may be deemed valid. Otherwise, the results of the test may be deemed invalid.

A broadcast method in a wireless network and a communication apparatus using the same. The broadcast method determines whether the broadcast packet is first received upon receiving a broadcast packet. If a determination reveals that the packet is first received, the broadcast packet is stored and rebroadcast to neighbor nodes. Subsequently, a node, among the neighbor nodes, from which the broadcast packet is received, is marked as ‘relayed’. The broadcast packet is rebroadcast when all of the neighbor nodes from which the broadcast packet is received are not marked as ‘relayed’. When all of the neighbor nodes from which the broadcast packet is received are marked as ‘relayed’, the broadcast packet is destroyed. Accordingly, an efficient link-based broadcast method is provided.

The present invention disclosed a Universal Serial Bus (USB) apparatus. The apparatus includes: a signal detecting unit for detecting a packet signal transmitted from a USB host and generating an acknowledgment signal according to a detection result; an error detecting unit, coupled to the signal detecting unit, for generating a control signal according to the acknowledgment signal; and a frequency generating unit, coupled to the error detecting unit, for generating an output clock signal according to the control signal.
