    Abstract: An access control system is for at least first and second doors each having a lock adjustable between locked and unlocked states. A key has a code includi ng first and second segments. A first controller coupled with the first door lo ck has a stored value and is configured to receive the key code and to compare at least the code first segment with the stored value, and unlocks the first lo ck when the code first segment corresponds with the stored value. A second controller coupled with the second door lock has a stored value and is configured to receive the key code and to compare at least the second code segment with the second stored value, and unlocks the second lock when eithe r the code second segment corresponds with the second stored value or both cod e segments correspond with separate portions of the second value.

    Abstract: A forgery-proof optoelectric card system is disclosed which includes a reader and code card comprising invisible light and dark codings forming at least one reading track. At least one reading head is provided which may comprise a photodiode as a ligh source and a phototransistor as a light receiver. The light codings having a first pass band to infrared light. Superimposed over selected ones of said light codings are filters having an attenuation band that is narrower than and lies within the pass band of the light codings. Additionally, a secondary light receiver responsive only to light lying within the attenuation band of the filter is provided.

    Abstract: An opto-electronic apparatus for reading out information coded in a card as a pattern of alternating transparent and opaque areas which are subjected to infrared radiation whose passage or non-passage is detected by suitable detectors. The process of reading out the information contained in the data carrier is timed or clocked by a clock cycle generated from a clock track contained in the data carrier itself or the data may be self clocking. The apparatus includes a program memory 37 which contains stored information regarding the clock cycle to be expected and is able to read out the information without using automatic mechanical transporting devices. If the manual insertion of the card of the data carrier includes generally unintended in excessive reverse motions, the circuit remembers the last clock cycle and continues to read the data at that point during subsequent forward motion. The apparatus has a standby operation using low power sensing pulses and a switchover to data read- out in the presence of the data carrier with high powered pulses of a current density which exceeds that normally acceptable to the light sources under continuous operation.

    Abstract: Vorgeschlagen wird ein Handsender (10) zur fernsteuerbaren Auslösung eines technischen Ereignisses in einer von dem Handsender (10) beabstandeten zweiten Vorrichtung (300), insbesondere wobei das Ereignis eine Buchung, insbesondere Zutrittsbuchung und/oder Zeitbuchung, und/oder eine Türöffnung im Rahmen einer Zutrittskontrolle aufweist, wobei der Handsender (10) zur drahtlosen Kommunikation mit einer zweiten Vorrichtung (300) sowohl eine Nahfeldkommunikations-(NFC)-Schnittstelle (12) als auch eine Bluetooth-Schnittstelle (14) aufweist. Somit kann ein Handsender (10) (Transponder) realisiert werden, der, insbesondere als Bluetooth-Transponder, stets als aktiver Transponder zur Verfügung steht. Dabei kann der Transponder jedoch gleichzeitig, insbesondere wahlweise, herkömmliche passive Ausweise ersetzen, nämlich insbesondere als NFC-Transponder, bevorzugt als aktiver NFC-Transponder.
