Abstract:
The invention disclose halogen free thermoplastic or cross linked polymers compositions comprising a polyolefin and/or a polyolefin containing polar co-monomers and a combination of metal hydroxides and inorganic hypophosphite as a synergic, and optionally other ingredients. These compositions show a superior balance of flame retardant properties compared to already known corresponding halogen free formulations. Molded items obtained using the polymer composition according to the present invention are useful in a wide range of injection molding and extrusion applications, especially cables.
Abstract:
Object of the present invention is to provide halogen-free highly flame retardant styrene impact modified polymers able to perform V0 classification on thin items, according to international standard UL-94.
Abstract:
The invention relates to flame retarded extruded polystyrene foams with a very low halogen content in the final product, i.e. containing a very low content of hexabromocyclododecane or preferably hexabromocyclododecane free, and a process for their preparation. The invention also relates to their use in construction, as building thermal insulating materials, or in transportation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a synergic scale inhibitor composition advantageously used for preventing scale formation and/or scale deposition in aqueous systems comprising dissolved iron ions, particularly in geothermal field, IWT (Industrial Water Treatment) and oil&gas field.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composition comprising at least aluminium hypophosphite (aluminium phosphinate), corresponding to the chemical formula Al(H 2 PO 2 ) 3 as halogen-free flame retardant agent, and at least a polymer based on polyamide. The flame retarded halogen-free thermoplastic moulding compositions according to the invention is used to produce articles based on polyamide polymers with or without glass fiber reinforcement, which are flame retarded.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a novel polymer that possesses metal ion removal properties, compositions comprising it, its use in cleaning application and the process for its manufacture. The present invention also relates to an improved the process for the manufacturing of known polymer as well, and the use of these known polymers in cleaning applications.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to halogen-free flame retardant compositions essentially comprising polyamide polymers (preferred is PA6), at least an Hypophosphorous acid metal salt (preferred is Aluminium hypophosphite), at least an organic phosphinate metal salt (preferred is Aluminium Di Ethyl Phosphinate), at least a Nitrogen based flame retardant agent (preferred is Melamine Cyanurate), at least an organic polyhydric polymer (preferred is EVOH) and optionally further conventional components. Such compositions are highly flame retarded at low thickness and have high Glow Wire temperature resistance.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic halogen-free flame retardant composition comprising at least an hypophosphorous acid metal salts as halogen-free flame retardant agent, and at least an aromatic polycarbonate s resin and/or its blends. The flame retardant composition may in addition comprise additives and fillers. The invention also refers to moulded thermoplastic articles made by using the flame retardant composition.
