    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape measure capable of inhibiting a measuring tape from becoming entangled in a case in a twisted state.SOLUTION: A tape measure 10 includes a case, a take-up core 2, and a measuring tape 3. The case includes: first and second supporting members 11 and 12 that define the opening port 1c of the case and between which the measuring tape 3 can be inserted; and first and second regulation members 13 and 14 that are disposed on the upstream side of the first and second supporting members 11 and 12 and between which the measuring tape 3 can be inserted. Each of the first supporting member 11 and first regulation member 13 is disposed so that it can abut on one surface 3a. Each of the second supporting member 12 and second regulation member 14 is disposed so that it can abut on the other surface 3b.
