Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tea leaves having an equal quality to the tea leaves obtained by a marsh reed screen canopy cover in cultivation of tea leaves for a high class tea, by using a shading material obtained by improving a black-colored chemical fiber screen.SOLUTION: A shading material having a shading rate of 90% or more, or two-layer shading materials having the shading rates of 90% or more and 80% or more, preferably have water absorptivity, sustained release property of water content, light property selectivity, and a higher shading rate especially in ultraviolet light region. Moreover, the sustained release property of water content preferably enables the water content of 60% or more to be kept at 6 hours after coming into water content-saturated state and a coconut material having the properties is further preferable. A shape of the coconut material is preferably a long sheet having a roll shape or having folds formed in advance, or an arch-shaped sheet, in addition to a normal sheet-shaped one.

The secondary sides of the pulse transformers in the first to (n-1)th semiconductor switch circuits are connected to the primary sides of the pulse transformers in the second to n-th semiconductor switch circuits, respectively, and the semiconductor switches in the first to n-th semiconductor switch circuits are synchronously on-off controlled by the gate drive circuit based on an AC signal.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a response characteristic measuring device which enables the separate observation of an input signal and a reflection signal by a simple and inexpensive configuration. SOLUTION: The response characteristic measuring device 1 has a delay part 5 which has a first end 51 and a second end 52 and outputs the input signal S 1 inputted from the first end 51 from the second end 52 by delaying it for a prescribed delay time while outputting the reflection signal S 2 inputted from the second end 52 from the first end 51 by delaying it for a delay time, and a probe 7 which applies the input signal S 1 outputted from the second end 52 of the delay part 5 on a specimen 2 while receiving the reflection signal S 2 from the specimen 2 and outputting it to the second end 52 of the delay part 5. The device is so constituted that the input signal S 1 and the reflection signal S 2 can be measured by being separated in a time domain at a point C positioned on the side of the first end 51 of the delay part 5. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and surely discriminate all entries for quality of grains. SOLUTION: In order to clearly discriminate a "split-skin" and a "navel" which have not been discriminated by the conventional concentration level judgment, the "navel" is specified based on the number of crests, the width between adjacent crests each other in addition to the concentration judgment. This can avoid to erroneously discriminate the "navel" as the "split-skin". Moreover, discrimination efficiency and accuracy can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture distribution measuring method and a moisture distribution measuring system capable of determining moisture distribution comparatively inexpensively in a short time, and measuring accurately the moisture distribution in soil. SOLUTION: Measurement is performed by using a probe group 1 arranged on each tip of a plurality of branch transmission paths 12 branched respectively from different positions of one trunk transmission path 11 into which a signal wave enters from one end thereof. Each probe 13 in the probe group 1 is arranged so that the total electric length of the shortest electric length from the incident position of the signal wave to the tip of one probe 13 and the shortest electric length from the tip of the probe 13 to a detection position of a reflected wave becomes different respectively. The detection position of the reflected wave may be on the same side as an incident end 14 of the signal wave or on the opposite side relative to the probe group 1. When the detection position of the reflected wave is on the same side as the incident end, the other end of the trunk transmission path must be a non-reflection terminal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling Platypusquercivorus stably in a good efficiency, simply and surely and without substantially affecting organisms other than the controlling subject. SOLUTION: This method of controlling the Platypusquercivorus as described in the claim 1 is to infect a natural enemy, filamentous fungus to the Platypusquercivorus. Preferably, the natural enemy, filamentous fungus is at least 1 kind of filamentous fungus selected from a group consisting of Beauveria brongniartii, Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for isolating attenuated phytovirus enabling efficiently selecting potential attenuated virus strain. SOLUTION: The method comprises subjecting phytovirus to mutating treatment such as low- or high-temperature treatment and inoculating a plant with the resultant phytovirus to produce mosaic leaves composed of yellow portion and green portion and obtaining the aimed attenuated phytovirus from the green portion. SOLUTION: The low-melting frit contains, by weight, 45.0-65.0% SiO 2 , 2.0-6.0% Al 2 O 3 , 11.0-35.0% B 2 O 3 , 0.0-4.0% K 2 O, 0.0-12.0% Na 2 O, 0.0-5.0% Li 2 O, 0.0-2.0% CaO, 2.0-8.0% ZnO, 0.0-3.0% MgO and 0.1-3.0% F, provided that the B 2 O 3 content is 0.1-0.7 in terms of molar fraction against the SiO 2 content, and contains at least one chosen from K 2 O, Na 2 O and Li 2 O. The components are compounded so that the total content of K 2 O, Na 2 O and Li 2 O becomes 5-20 wt.% and the total content of CaO, ZnO and MgO becomes 2-13 wt.%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption spectrophotometer appropriate for size reduction and reducing the cost. SOLUTION: The absorption spectrophotometer has a sample disposed at any location of an optical waveguide, measures the absorption rate of a pulse light introduced into the optical waveguide, and is provided with the optical waveguide, having a predetermined length and confining the pulsed light and an optical directional coupler for introducing the pulsed light in a predetermined direction to the optical waveguide and deriving the introduced pulsed light. A coupling coefficient of the optical directional coupler to the optical waveguide can be fitly selected, in response to the absorption rate of the measured sample. A light-emitting device for emitting the pulsed light is driven, by applying a drive pulse current having a steep falling edge. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of still more easily conducting judgement of a genotype of a hot-tasting gene locus of a plant of the genus Capsicum. SOLUTION: In this method, a DNA marker comprising a DNA positioned near a Pun locus which is the hot-tasting gene locus and composed of a specific base sequence derived from the plant or another DNA substantially identical to the DNA composed of the specific base sequence derived from the plant is used so that the genotype of the Pun locus is discriminated based on at least one of criteria (a) to (c) as follows: (a) presence or absence of an amplification fragment of the DNA maker; (b) the length of the amplification fragment of the DNA marker; and (c) a cleavage pattern of the amplification fragment of the DNA marker by a restriction enzyme. Further, possibility of misjudgment is minimized, by interposing the target gene between two markers strongly linked and positioned near the Pun locus which is the hot-tasting gene locus of the plant of the genus Capsicum.
