Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel imaging system for performing auto-calibration and reconstitution by a 2D and 3D kernel utilizing calculation efficiency capable of being obtained at the time of operation in a specific data "domain" or "space", and a method using it. SOLUTION: The reconstitution process of multiple coil data is separated into a "training phase" and an "application phase "adapting reconstitution weight (106) acquired in order to synthesize (replacing) depleted data. The selection of a data space (that is, a k space) where each stage is generated, a hybrid space or an image data formed by each of stages is independently optimized in order to shorten the total reconstitution time in a given imaging use. Accordingly, the advantage related to image quality due to the use of a 2D-k space kernel is held without causing the adaptation load of a 2D-k space convolution kernel from an aspect of calculation. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer synthesis apparatus and method for building a sequence-defined polymer chain. SOLUTION: The polymer synthesis method and apparatus (20) for forming a polymer chain, comprises a head assembly (21) having nozzles (22) with each nozzle coupled to a reservoir (23) of a liquid reagent (24), and a base assembly (25) having reaction wells (26). A gas inlet (70) into the common chamber (31) upstream from the nozzles (22), and a gas outlet (71) out of the common chamber (31) downstream from the nozzles (22), sweeps the common chamber (31) of toxic fumes emitted by the reagents. A pressure regulating device (82) is provided for controlling a pressure difference, between pressure exerted on the reaction well (26) and pressure exerted on an exit (80) of the orifice (74), such that upon the pressure difference exceeding a predetermined amount, the reagent solution (76) is expelled. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noninvasive method for detecting, positioning and tracing a pathogen in the living body such as a mammal and the like. SOLUTION: The noninvasive method includes a process for providing a nonhuman mammal control having cells containing an introduced gene in detecting expression of a heterogene in the nonhuman mammal control. In the process (i) the introduced gene contains the heterogene coding for a bioluminescent protein or a fluorogenic protein and (ii) the control contains an opaque tissue, the expression of the heterogene is detected by measuring photon radiation passing through the opaque tissue by using a photodetector and the control is maintained under a condition permissible for expressing the heterogene by the cells.
