Abstract: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving the safety of a vehicle in relation to occurrences of smoke and fire. In one embodiment, a method includes acquiring, from a radar of a subject vehicle, radar data about a passenger cabin of the subject vehicle. The method includes determining a current state of the passenger cabin according to the radar data. The method includes, responsive to identifying that the current state indicates smoke is present within the passenger cabin, controlling the subject vehicle to generate a response to the smoke.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to using vehicles as mobile observation platforms. In one embodiment, a method includes, in response to receiving, in a selected vehicle that is equipped with at least one camera, a request for locating a target, identifying search parameters from the request that specify the target that is to be identified and a time window for analyzing visual data from the camera. The method includes analyzing the visual data according to the search parameters to identify the target by using at least a machine vision model executing on a processor within the selected vehicle. The visual data includes at least camera data that is currently being acquired. The method includes communicating detection results about whether the visual data includes the target to a remote device from which the request originated.

In one embodiment, a method of generating a recommendation responsive to one or more requested attributes, includes generating a location tensor associated with a geographical location, the location tensor being a multidimensional datastructure that indicates one or more attributes of the geographical location, extracting, from the location tensor, an embedding that indicates information contained in the location tensor, storing the embedding in a database in association with the geographical location, analyzing a plurality of embeddings in the database to identify at least one geographic area having attributes that corresponds with the one or more requested attributes, and generating a recommendation that includes the at least one geographic area.

Abstract: A system for optimizing rescue efforts includes one or more processors, a network access device and a memory device. The network access device and the memory device are in communication with the one or more processors. Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods of reporting the fuel level in a fuel tank of a vehicle. The method includes receiving a fuel consumption curve and a fuel refill curve, receiving a first fuel level value and a second fuel level value from a fuel level sensor, and determining whether the vehicle is consuming fuel or receiving fuel based on a change between the first fuel level value and the second fuel level value. In response to determining that the vehicle is consuming fuel, the method further includes determining a fuel gauge display value based on the second fuel level value and the fuel consumption curve. In response to determining that the vehicle is receiving fuel, the method further includes determining a fuel gauge display value based on the second fuel level value and the fuel refill curve. The fuel gauge display value is presented on a fuel gauge display.

Abstract: Embodiments are direct to methods and systems for authenticating a user and interpolating user preference embeddings. The systems generate, using a neural network trained to generate features based on training data comprising human voices spoken by a plurality of historical speakers inside a vehicle, input features based on a human voice of a current speaker inside the vehicle, and calculates similarities between an input vector of the input features and historical vectors in voiceprints of one or more enrolled users. After determining a similarity between the input vector and at least one historical vector in a voiceprint of an identified user is less than a threshold similarity, the systems authenticate the current speaker as the identified user, calculate a probabilistic notion based on the similarity, and apply the probabilistic notion to interpolate between downstream user preference embeddings associated with the identified user.
