Abstract:
For transfer of pressure and/or tensile loads as well as torque load between two objects, an elongate spindle member with high rigidity and stability against pressure and/or tensile loads as well as bending and torsional load is provided by that winding-up of mutually interlocking chain links (1) under axial displacement in a helical winding (5) by means of a winding guide means (14) connected with one of the two objects. The turn of the helical winding first provided is connected with a coupling member for connection with the other two objects and each chain link is retained in engagement with neighbouring links in the same turn as well as adjacent chain links in neighbouring turns.

Abstract:
The arrangement is intended for flashing of a roof penetrating building construction and comprises a rail member (4) adapted to be connected with a member (1) of a frame construction for the building structure to extend, when mounted, substantially along the entire length thereof, and a deformable skirt member (9) which at an edge portion (7) thereof positioned, when mounted, at a distance from the frame member (1) is connected with an edge portion of the rail member (4) and adapted to be brought into abutment with the surrounding roofing. The arrangement comprises a supporting means (10) to be positioned between the frame member (1) and the joining (6, 7) between the skirt member (8) and the rail member (4).
Abstract:
The roof flashing material is intended for use in connection with skylight windows and the like roof penetrating structures and comprises a sandwich construction with two outer layers (2, 3) of metal foil and at least one intermediate layer (4; 5-7) positioned between the outer layers, said material having at least in one direction a continuous waveform. The intermediate layer(s) (4; 5, 6) adjacent to the outer layers is/are made from a non-adhesive resilient material, and said waveform is formed in such a manner that it maintains the mutual positioning between the outer layers and the adjacent intermediate layer(s) by friction.
Abstract:
A plastically deformable flashing material, in particular for roof flashing purposes in connection with roof windows and similar roof penetrating building structures, consists of a sheet-, web- or strip-shaped expanded-metal grid (1) covered on both sides by an elastomeric layer (2). The expanded-metal grid (1) is pretreated to substantially uniform extensibility in directions substantially orthogonal to each other corresponding to the longitudinal and cross direction of the sheet-, web- or strip-form. The elastomeric layers (2) are of thermoplastic material, and the sandwich material shaped by the expanded-metal grid (1) and the elastomeric layers (2) is corrugated in a continuous waveform parallel to one of said directions substantially orthogonal to each other.
Abstract:
In a window comprising a pivotable sash (6) arranged in a main frame (7) and being provided with an adjustable ventilation cover (2) for providing ventilation in a closed position of the sash through a ventilation passage (3) between opposed members of the sash (6) and the main frame (7) and sash locking means (8) connected with the ventilation cover (2), one or more burglary preventing members (4) are arranged in the ventilation passage to prevent manual access to the ventilation cover (2) and/or the locking means (8) from the external side of the window Preferably, a burglary preventing member (4) is formed as s shield having openings (9) for the ventilation air and being firmly connected to the top member of the main frame (7) and covering the ventilation passage (3) by closely fitting an upper edge part (6a) of the top member of the sash (6).
Abstract:
Profiled rail members (9, 10) with substantially uniform profile cross-sections, preferably for use in framework structures, comprise at least one interior wall (2) with a front side and a rear side, in the latter of which longitudinal grooves (6, 7) are provided, said grooves being defined laterally by upwards projecting wall and flange members (3, 4, 5), and are be joined in a mitre joint (26) by means of an assembling device comprising two fitting parts (19, 20) designed for substantially symmetrical arrangedement around the mitre joint (26) and having openings for an assembling joint (27, 28) for assembling the two fitting parts. The profiled rail members (9, 10) and the fitting parts (19, 20) are provided with co-operating means (4a, 5a, 21, 24a) in order to cause, during said assembly, a simultaneous tightening of the frame profile members into mutually realigned positions towards the mitre joint (18, 26).
Abstract:
An insulation and installation frame for use in installing a skylight window in a pitched roof structure, comprising a roofing material, a batten structure serving as support therefor, a supporting arrangement of rafters (8) and an underroof placed on top of or between the rafters (8) and comprising at least one exterior, waterproof membrane (3) and an insulation layer (5), comprises top, bottom and side members (28, 29, 30) made from well insulating material and positioned in abutment against the upper side of the underroof and having a light opening (20) of the same size as a light opening made in the underroof (11a) but smaller than the exterior frame dimensions of the skylight window, such that the skylight window may be placed with its frame (11) in abutment against the upper side of the insulation and installation frame (20). At the mounting of the skylight window a marking-out of the window opening in the underroof is carried out by placing the insulation and installation frame (20) in abutment against the upper side of the underroof and by marking along the edges of the light opening (20a) of the frame (20).
