Abstract: A system and a method for managing supply chain using an ETC(Electronic Transaction Code) are provided to automatically and quickly check completion of delivery without any manual process, and reduce time and expense needed for the delivery. An order information database(220) stores goods order information. A goods database(230) stores information for goods inventory of each warehouse. A controller(210) transmits the goods order information and the ETC to a supplier and the orderer system of the warehouse by searching the warehouse storing the goods from the goods database after receiving a goods order from the orderer system. The controller completes the goods order by receiving delivery completion information from the orderer system. The supplier system includes an information receiver for receiving the ETC and the goods order information from the controller, and a tag writer for writing the received ETC and goods order information to an electronic tag.
