Abstract:
A method for evaluating the effect of cosmetic composition may include a step of performing a whitening-blacking process on a second skin image after the cosmetic composition is coated and a first skin image before the cosmetic composition is coated, respectively; a step of measuring shadow values respectively corresponding to a skin structure from the first skin image and the second skin image which are performed by the whitening-blacking process; and a step of measuring the effect of the cosmetic composition by comparing the shadow value measured by the second skin image and the showdown value measured by the first skin image. The effect such as the cover force of makeup products from an image which is a photographed image of a skin can be objectively evaluated by applying the principle of densitometry to the effect evaluation of the cosmetic composition. [Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S1) Photographing a skin image before coating cosmetic composition; (S2) Photographing the skin image after coating the cosmetic composition; (S3) Whitening-blacking process of the skin image before and after coating the cosmetic composition; (S4) Adjusting the contrast of the background from each skin image which is whitening-blacking processed; (S5) Measuring shadow values corresponding to points, spots, wrinkles, pores, blemishes, or scars from each skin image; (S6) Evaluating the efficiency by comparing the shadow values of the skin image before and after coating cosmetic composition
Abstract:
A skin external composition improving anti-aging through the regulation of caveolin productivity is provided to promote the collagen biosynthesis, prevent skin aging and enhance skin elasticity. A skin external composition comprises 0.001-10% by weight of caveolin or a material which increases the caveolin biosynthesis as a efficient ingredient. The material which increases the caveolin biosynthesis is the cholesterol. The skin external composition is used in a form of skin, lotion, massage cream, pack, gel, ointment, gel, cream, patch, or transdermal administration of spray. A screening process is performed by selecting materials which increase the caveolin productivity in dermis from candidate materials in vitro.
Abstract:
A method for evaluating the efficacy of a cosmetic material by using the keratin in skin cells comprises the steps of: collecting keratin parts from skin (S1); applying a cosmetic material to at least one part of the collected keratin parts (S2); obtaining a first image which represents the state of a first group coated with the cosmetic material among the collected keratin parts (S3); obtaining a second image which represents the state of a second group corresponding to a control group among the collected keratin parts (S4); and comparing the first image and the second image to measure the efficacy of the cosmetic material (S6). In the evaluation for the efficacy of a cosmetic material such as a makeup product, etc., the efficacy of the cosmetic material can be objectively and accurately measured by using the keratin in skin tissue to which a cosmetic product is actually applied, instead of artificial leather, an object having an uneven surface, etc. used previously. [Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S1) Collect keratin parts from skin; (S2) Apply a cosmetic material to at least one part of the collected keratin parts by using a vibrator or a powder puff; (S3) Obtain a first image which represents the state of a keratin part corresponding to an experimental group; (S4) Obtain a second image which represents the state of a keratin part corresponding to a control group; (S5) Perform image processing about the first and second images; (S6) Compare the first and second images to measure coating uniformity, long-lasting performance, adhesion property, etc.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for screening a material for treating dry skin is provided to prevent skin moisturizing and to recover skin barrier. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening a material for treating dry skin comprises a step of screening candidate materials based on expression change of bleomycin hydolase(BH) gene. The gene expression level is measured by PCR. An external use skin composition contains LXR activator which enhances BH gene expression level as an active ingredient. The composition is used for treating dry skin or moisturizing skin.
