PURPOSE: A method for estimating the skin moisture supplying intensity of a target material and a kit for the same are provided to simply estimate the skin moisture supplying intensity without a special estimating unit. CONSTITUTION: A method for estimating the skin moisture supplying intensity of a target material includes the following: Silica gel and a target material are separated. Moisture is transferred from the target material into the silica gel. Based on the transfer result of the moisture, the changed degree of the silica gel due to the transferred moisture is estimated according to the change of silica gel color of the change of silica gel weight.

PURPOSE: Non-woven fabric including algae fabric and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to produce a sheet containing effective composition of a cosmetic material by using the non-woven fabric. CONSTITUTION: Non-woven fabric has algae fabric. The algae fabric is one or more selected from a group consisting of rhodophyta, fucoxanthin, and algae. The non-woven fabric further includes one or more selected from a group consisting of natural fiber and synthetic fiber. The algae fabric of 1~80 weight% is included in the non-woven fabric.
Abstract:
A sesamol derivative having skin whitening effect is provided to inhibit the activity of tyrosinase playing an important role of melanogenesis. A cosmetic composition comprising the sesamol derivative having skin whitening effect is also provided to improve the skin whitening effect. The sesamol derivative having skin whitening effect is represented by the chemical formula(1), wherein n is 2 or 3. The skin-whitening cosmetic composition comprises 0.01-20.00 wt.% of the sesamol derivative having skin whitening effect.

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing nanoparticles is provided to ensure colloid stability and to enable safe biodegradation in vivo. CONSTITUTION: A nanopaticle is prepared by impregnating physiologically active ingredients into amphiphilic polymers of a sterostructure comprising a core part with a plurality of branches formed of hydrophobic polymers and an arm part formed of hydrophilic polymers. The hydrophobic polymers are is a copolymer formed of poly-carprolactone, poly-L-lactic acid, poly-D,L-lactic acid, poly-D-lactic acid-co-glycolic acid, poly-L-lactic acid-co-glycolic acid, poly-D,L-lactic acid-co-glycolic acid, or monomer thereof. A cosmetic composition contains the nanoparticles as an active ingredient.

PURPOSE: A theanine derivative and an external use skin composition containing the same are provided to ensure selective antibacterial effect against propionibacterium acne. CONSTITUTION: A theanine derivative is denoted by chemical formula 1 or 2. In chemical formulas 1 and 2, R1 and R2 are hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, n-butyl, isobutyl, or t-butyl. An external use skin composition for anti-acne contains 0.001-20.0 wt% of the theanine derivative as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the theanine derivative of chemical formula 1 or 2 comprises: a step of heating compound A and maltose in a reaction solvent and stirring; and a step of depositing a product after reaction. The reaction solvent is water, methanol, n-propanol, isopropanol, n-butanol, isobutanol, t-butanol, 1,2-propandiol, 1,3-propandiol, 1,3-butandiol, or glycerol.
