    Abstract: PURPOSE: A polymer modified concrete composition for paving bridges is provided to improve the construction speed by mass-producing the composition using a ready-mixed concrete plant or a field batching plant, and to improve the seawater damage resistance. CONSTITUTION: A polymer modified concrete composition for paving bridges is formed of cement, aggregate, polymer emulsion, and water. The polymer emulsion contains a polycarboxylate-based surfactant or a water-dispersible urethane based surfactant for preventing the cohesion, and a nonionic surfactant for preventing the cohesion. The polymer emulsion contains a cement hydration retarder, and one of latex or acryl. The 0.1-10 wt% of polycarboxylate-based surfactant is contained in the polymer emulsion. 0.1-5 wt% of water-dispersible urethane based surfactant is contained in the polymer emulsion. 0.1-10 wt% of nonionic surfactant is contained in the polymer emulsion.
