Abstract: PURPOSE: A multiband antenna assembly using a retractable antenna is provided to improve the space efficiency of a housing by receiving a frequency like BT, GPS, Wibro, and LTE bands through a radiator when the retractable antenna is inserted into a terminal housing. CONSTITUTION: A retractable antenna(11) is inputted to or outputted from a terminal housing and the length of the antenna is extended. A connection bushing(12) is electrically connected to a feeder on a printed circuit board mounted in the terminal housing. A guide tube(13) is mounted in the terminal housing and guides the retractable antenna to linearly move. A bar type radiator(14) is extended in parallel to the retractable antenna when the retractable antenna is inputted. The retractable antenna and the radiator are connected to the connection bushing and are electrically connected to the feeder. A first band is received through the retractable antenna when the retractable antenna is outputted. A second band is received through the radiator and the retractable antenna when the retractable antenna is inputted.
