Abstract: PURPOSE: A controller for a hot water mat is provided to prevent operating noise by minimizing friction impacts applied to a valve. CONSTITUTION: A controller for a hot water mat comprises a water pail(130), a heating unit(160), and a T-shaped valve(300). Water flowing into the heating unit through a second supply pipe(141) is heated, and circulates by the pressure of expanded and heated water through a hose connected to the mat. The T-shaped valve is mounted to a supply pipe between the heating unit and the water pail. The T-shaped valve disperses the expansion pressure of the heated water, and reduces the friction impacts applied to the valve. The T-shaped valve comprises an inclined opening/closing valve(322) and a shock absorbing portion.
