Abstract: PURPOSE: A footbridge coupling device is provided to prevent damage due to twisting as the footbridge moves vertically and horizontally around a ball inserted into a hemispherical groove. CONSTITUTION: A footbridge coupling device comprises an upper plate, a rolling wheel(420), and a lower plate(430). The coupling device more comprises a front and a rear cover member(440,450). A ball(411) is projected to the lower part of the upper plate. The rolling wheel supports the both sides of a base plate(310). The rolling wheel is formed at the both sides of the upper plate. A hemi-spherical groove(431) is formed on the center of the lower plate. The ball is inserted into the hemispherical groove. The lower plate is coupled on the upper side of a shore protection.
