Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing Phoma loticola strain by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is provided to quickly and simply classify and identify Phoma loticola strain in imported seedlings and seeds. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for detecting Phoma loticola contains a forward primer with a base sequence of sequence number 3 and a reverse primer with a base sequence of sequence number 4. A method for detecting Phoma loticola comprises the steps of performing PCR using the primer set and detecting Phoma loticola strain. A kit for detecting Phoma loticola contains the primer set.
