Abstract: PURPOSE: A water-in-oil emulsion type composition with a high wax content which is used in the cosmetic and dermatological field, particularly in taking care of skin and/or mucous membrane and in treating wrinkle and/or fine line of the skin, and/or the dry skin. CONSTITUTION: In the cream type composition comprising a water-in-oil composition containing an aqueous phase dispersed in an oily phase, the composition comprises: (i) more than 25 wt.% of the aqueous phase regarding the total weight of the composition; (ii) at least one silicone emulsifying agent; and (iii) more than 5 wt.% of at least one wax regarding the total weight of the composition.
