    Abstract: A rotary compressor is provided install a plug at a predetermined position to prevent a spring member from being separated and to prevent a cylinder from being deformed. A rotary compressor includes an upper cylinder(38), a roller(46), a vane(50), a spring(76), a spring holding unit(70A), a plug(137), and a locking unit. The roller eccentrically rotates in the upper cylinder. The vane partitions the upper cylinder into a lower-pressure chamber and a higher-pressure chamber. The spring is used to elastically support the vane to the roller. The spring holding unit is open toward the side of the vane and a sealed vessel(12). The plug is positioned at the sealed container of the spring. The locking unit is provided at an internal wall of the spring holding unit. The locking unit is in contact with the plug at a predetermined position.

    Abstract: A defroster for a refrigerant circuit is provided to save the manufacturing cost by simplifying the structure of a rotary compressor through exclusion of a spring, a back pressure chamber, and a structure for applying back pressure to the back pressure chamber. A defroster for a refrigerant circuit comprises a multi-stage compression type rotary compressor(10), a gas cooler(154), a first decompression device(156), and an evaporator(157). The multi-stage compression type rotary compressor includes a driving unit(14) in a sealing container(12), and first and second rotary compression elements(32,34) driven by the driving unit. Refrigerant gas compressed by the first rotary compression element is compressed by the second rotary compression element. The gas cooler receives the refrigerant from the second rotary compression element. The first decompression device is coupled with an outlet of the gas cooler. The evaporator is coupled with an outlet of the first decompression device.
