Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for automatically alarming a failure of a network equipment is provided to directly alarm the failure to an equipment provider on the spot when the failure is generated, and to transmit information related to the failure, thereby quickly recovering the failure. CONSTITUTION: A network management agent(56) reports a failure of a network equipment(50) to a network management server(60). A network management manager(62) receives a message corresponding to the report to alarm the failure to a network manager, and reads failure related information stored in a failure information database of the network equipment(50) to store the information, then transmits the information to a provider of the network equipment(50). A file transmission server(59) accesses the failure information according to a failure information request from the network management manager, and transmits requested failure information data to the network management server(60).
