Abstract: PURPOSE: A light emitting diode package is provided to maximize the amount of light generated from an LED(Light Emitting Diode) chip and emitted to the outside of the package by forming an inner wall of a cavity included on the package mold as a curved surface. CONSTITUTION: A pair of lead frames(110) is formed. A package mold(120) comprises a cavity(125), the inner wall of which is formed as a curved surface. An LED chip(130) is mounted on the lead frame of the package mold inside. A molding material(160) is filled in the cavity of the package mold. The molding material protects the LED chip. A bonding wire electrically interlinks the LED chip and the lead frame.
