    Abstract: A terminal assembly, a rotary compressor and an air conditioner having the same are provided to interrupt power supply for a driving motor by cutting a fracture portion of a pin through deformation of a cap when an abnormal high voltage is applied to the inside of a casing, thereby securing safety of the rotary compressor even when the rotary compressor is damaged. A terminal assembly(270) includes a cap(271) coupled with a casing(215) which receives a driving motor and a cylinder, a plurality of pins(275) each having a body part(277), and insulating elements(273) for coupling the pins to the cap. At least one of the pins has a fracture portion(279) in the body part which is disposed in the casing. The cap is deformed by abnormal high voltage applied to the inside of the casing, so that the fracture part is cut by the deformation of the cap.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A retractable/extendable antenna system in a portable terminal comprising a conductive tube is provided to increase the efficiency of antenna radiation and to improve traffic performance by increasing the length of the rod antenna portion of a whip antenna. CONSTITUTION: A retractable/extendable antenna system in a portable terminal consists of a helical antenna, a whip antenna(30), and a conductive tube(40). The helical antenna is embedded in an antenna housing(12). The whip antenna(30) is retracted or extended from the antenna housing(12). The conductive tube(40) accepts a rod antenna portion(33) when the whip antenna(30) is retracted. In the state that the whip antenna(30) is retracted, the helical antenna covers the antenna function. In the state that the whip antenna(30) is extended, the whip antenna(30) takes charge of the antenna function. The whip antenna(30) is composed of an antenna cap(31), a conductive stopper(34), and the rod antenna portion(33). An insulator(32) is installed at the upper part of the rod antenna portion(33).
