Disclosed are an apparatus and method for generating a hologram pattern with a small calculation quantity. The apparatus for generating the hologram pattern includes: a reference depth surface setting unit which sets a reference depth surface by using information related to a 3D object; a first hologram pattern generating unit which generates a first hologram pattern corresponding to the 3D object on the reference depth surface; and a second hologram pattern generating unit which generates a second hologram pattern on a hologram plane by using the first hologram pattern.

PURPOSE: A hologram generation device and method based on pattern reuse are provided to generate a converted hologram pattern by converting an initial hologram pattern, thereby reducing the amount of calculation when generating a hologram pattern for each time frame. CONSTITUTION: A pattern generation part (101) generates an initial hologram pattern corresponding to a three-dimensional object (104) in a three-dimensional space. PURPOSE: A display device and a method thereof are provided to generate a high definition light field image without increasing the pixel resolution of a display end. CONSTITUTION: A location sensing unit(110) senses the eye location of a user. A control unit(120) sets a virtual viewing window corresponding to the eye location of the user. The control unit provides a control signal generating directivity light to the viewing window. A light generating unit(130) generates the directivity light according to the control signal.

PURPOSE: A crosstalk reduction device and method thereof are provided to reduce the loss of contrast by applying a margin value differently for recompensing crosstalk according to a space location in an image. CONSTITUTION: A crosstalk reduction device(100) includes an image input unit(110) which receives a multi-viewpoint image and a crosstalk removing unit(120) removes crosstalk by using a margin image having a different margin value per location of the multi-viewpoint image. The cross talk removing unit includes a temporary image generating unit(122) generating a temporary image by calculating the influence of multi-viewpoint influences to a surrounding image and an input image generating unit(123) generating an input image by applying a margin image to the temporary image.
