    Abstract: PURPOSE: A deionization device and a control method thereof are provided to rapidly generate an electrode by rapidly separating an ion adsorbed in the electrode using mechanical energy produced in a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION: A deionization device includes an electrode(11,12) adsorbing ions contained in fluid and a piezoelectric element(21) separating the ion adsorbed in the electrode with vibration. The piezoelectric element is a polyvinylidene fluoride piezoelectric plate. The electrode includes an anode and a cathode. The piezoelectric element is arranged between the anode and the cathode. The piezoelectric element is formed with porous structure. The electrode includes a current collector(13) and a carbon porous electrode.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A deionizing apparatus and a method for controlling the apparatus are provided to minimize the waste of water even when a processing capacity by shortening a time for detaching ions. CONSTITUTION: A deionizing apparatus comprises: a plurality of stacks which are equipped with an electrode adsorbing a contained ion in the fluid; a circuit part which connects a part among a plurality of stacks in series or in parallel; a switch which converts a part among a plurality of stacks in series or in parallel; and a power supply unit supplying a power source(20) to a plurality of stacks. The switch is controlled to connect a plurality of stacks in parallel in an ion absorption mode and to connect a part among a plurality of stacks in series in an ion desorption mode. The switch includes switches(SW1,SW2,SW3,SW4,SW5,SW6) changing a power line which is connected to the power supply unit and multiple stacks.
