PURPOSE: A telephony service control method using VNC(Virtual Network Computing) capable of easily performing UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) telephony service in a head unit for a car and an apparatus thereof are provided to activate UPnP telephony in VNC base, thereby providing the head unit with an identical UI(User Interface) environment provided by a mobile device. CONSTITUTION: A connection with a second terminal for providing telephony service is performed. A call connection with an outside terminal is performed through the second terminal. Virtual network computing between a first terminal and the second terminal is connected. Data for making a call with the outside terminal is transmitted and received through the second terminal. A call connection process includes a process of receiving a call reception notification message from the second terminal receiving a call from the outside terminal and a process of transmitting a call admission message in response to the call reception notification message. PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for exchanging data between devices based on UPnP(universal plug and play) are provided to rapidly exchange between a vehicle head unit and a mobile device in real time using a UPnP protocol. The control unit forms a Fast Event data transfer path using information included in a Return when the Return corresponding to the action, which requests for the specific parameter, is received from the controlled device. PURPOSE: A call method using a home network and a device thereof are provided to eliminate a security problem due to exchange of high quality images that a UPnP telephony service suggests without damaging UX(User Experience). CONSTITUTION: A control point module transmits an address request message about a REST server through an SMS(Short Message Service) transmitting/receiving module to a second mobile communication terminal(503). The control point module transmits an address response message to a first mobile communication terminal through the SMS transmitting/receiving module(505). The address response message includes the URI(Uniform Resource Identifier) address of the REST server. CONSTITUTION: A TCP(Telephony Control Point) apparatus(210) receives a phone number of a receiver in a telephone apparatus(203) and digital multimedia contents including the advertisement of an advertisement publisher from a content providing apparatus(201). The user connects a TCP(250) apparatus, in which an UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) TCP is built, to the TS apparatus having a telephony server. PURPOSE: A remote user interface control method and an apparatus thereof in home network are provided to determine weather a control UI of a third RUIC(Remote User Interface Client) device is expressed within a remote UI device. CONSTITUTION: An embedded web server receives a control command from a third RUIC device capable of controlling RUI. The embedded web server performs the update of a CUI(Control User Interface). An RC(Remote Control) plug-in module(203) confirms whether control information in the embedded web server is generated from the CUI. The RC plug-in module requests a command to the embedded web server.

PURPOSE: A user interface apparatus and a method thereof in a local area network are provided to offer RUI in which RUIS(Remote User Interface Server) is matched with a remote unit. CONSTITUTION: An RUIC(Remote User Interface Controller)(500) processes data to an RUIS(Remote User Interface Server)(509). The RUIC transfers processed data. The RUIC receives information about RUI of which performance information is matched with RUIS performance information. The RUIS offers information about the user interface matched with performance information offered from the RUIC to the RUIC.
