Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and a system for connecting a mobile communication terminal and an access point are provided to increase the convenience in the connection of a terminal and an AP by selectively providing a WLAN service according to a user. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(140) broadcasts an MAC(Media Access Control) information message including MAC information, and transfers the MAC information message to a server through an AP. A WLAN connection request message including the MAC information thereof is transmitted to the server through a mobile communication network(110). If a WLAN connection response message is a message which allows access point connection, network setting information for the access point connection is extracted from the WLAN connection response message. The access point broadcasts a guide message including MAC information.

Abstract: A device for a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) service in a shared network environment and a method thereof are provided to configure individual household networks to support a UPnP service, and to reduce unnecessary network traffic of UPnP multicast packets, thereby ensuring privacy in household member unit as preventing performance deterioration of connection devices. A UPnP multicast monitor module(203) monitors a header of a frame inputted to a repeater, and demands discarding for the frame. A deletion control module(204) selects the frame which is requested to be deleted, and deletes the selected frame. A switching management module(205) registers and manages information on the deleted frame. The UPnP multicast monitor module(203) monitors a UPnP IP(Internet Protocol) which constitutes the header of the frame.

The data transmission method includes requesting a real-time service from a multimedia device to a home gateway within a home network; inputting a binary code corresponding to the multimedia device to a service type field indicating priority information of data when the home gateway forms a mapping table used for conversion of addresses; the home gateway requesting setting of an IP address of the multimedia device from a service provider; setting the IP address including the binary code corresponding to the multimedia device according to the request of setting the IP address; and the service provider transmitting a data packet including the binary code corresponding to the multimedia device. The method is applied to the selective IP packet, thereby shortening the transmission time of real-time data packets for multimedia.
