A nozzle assembly is provided to keep hairs from being wound on a drum brush and to increase cleaning efficiency by installing winding preventing members, which have a first cylindrical member and a first projection, in a nozzle assembly casing. A nozzle assembly(150) comprises a nozzle assembly casing(151), a drum brush(153), and winding preventing members(158). The nozzle assembly casing is arranged with a suction hole(151a) for sucking impurities of a floor. The drum brush is rotary in the nozzle assembly casing. The winding preventing members prevent hairs from being wound on the drum brush and are installed in the nozzle assembly casing. The winding preventing members are shaped like a comb and include a first cylindrical member and a first projection. The first projection is sphere and has a larger diameter than one of the first cylindrical member.

PURPOSE: A dust collector for a vacuum cleaner with a dust removal function and a vacuum cleaner are provided to easily assemble and manage a dust removing unit or a driving unit by arranging the dust removing unit and the driving unit on the same plane. CONSTITUTION: A dust collector(100) for a vacuum cleaner with a dust removal function comprises a dust container(101), a centrifugal separating unit, a filter unit(180), and a dust removing device(100a). The centrifugal separating unit is installed inside the dust container. The filter unit is coupled to an exhaust port of an exhaust unit of the centrifugal separating unit. The dust removing device comprises a dust removing unit and a driving unit. The dust removing unit has one or more dust removing members(160,170) and dust removing protrusions. The driving unit supplies driving force to the dust removing unit.

PURPOSE: A dust collecting device having a changeable dust storing space is provided to adjust a dust storage space without the direct contact by a user using a drive motor to control the dust storage space. CONSTITUTION: A dust collecting device(9) having a changeable dust storing space(36) comprises a dust storage space, a driving unit, and a cyclone chamber. The dust storage space stores the dirt. The driving unit extends or reduces the dust storage space. The cyclone chamber is formed on the top of the dust storage space, circulates the air and separates the dust from the air.

PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner equipped with a separable dust collector is provided to separably install a large dust collector without enlarging a vacuum cleaner. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner equipped with a separable dust collector(50) comprises: a cleaner body(10) which includes a first opening(11a) which opens a part of a first side and a second opening(11b) which opens a part, adjacent to the first opening, of the second side; a dust collector which separates dirt from air; and a placing unit(80) which is formed in the cleaner body and separably installs the dust collector to the cleaner body. When the dust collector is installed to the placing unit, the dust collector shields the first opening and the second opening of the cleaner body and forms the exterior of the cleaner body.

PURPOSE: A suction nozzle and a vacuum cleaner including the same are provided to detachably install a spraying assembly in the suction nozzle. CONSTITUTION: A suction nozzle is composed of an outer casing and a spraying assembly(100). The outer casing comprises more than one suction port and a mounting chamber. Trash in a cleaning area is inhaled through the suction ports. The spraying assembly is detachably accepted to the mounting chamber, and sprays an enhancer on the cleaning area using suction force.
