Abstract: PURPOSE: A navigation control apparatus and method based on collision prediction are provided to achieve a realistic vehicle operation environment. CONSTITUTION: A navigation control apparatus(1) based on collision prediction comprises an information analyzing unit(10), a path determining unit(20), and a vehicle control unit(30). The information analyzing unit analyzes location and movement information of moving obstacles to a vehicle traveling on a navigation path. The path determining unit determines the possibility of collision against the moving obstacles using the analyzed information and set a navigation path for the vehicle. The vehicle control unit guides the vehicle along the set navigation path.

Abstract: An image enhancement method and an adaptive exposure setting method using the same are provided to process an image adaptively according to a kind of an input image, and improve quality of an image having high proportionality of samples belonging to low brightness and high brightness areas. An element extracting unit(110) separates a brightness signal and a color signal from an input image signal. A brightness enhancing unit(120) enhances brightness of the brightness signal. A contrast enhancing unit(130) separates the brightness signal whose brightness is improved into at least one local area and improves contrast of the improved bright signal per a local area.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for compensating the brightness of an image are provided to reduce time and an operation amount necessary for compensating the brightness of the image as it is unnecessary to perform repeated feedback using at least one of brightness information and gain information. An image acquisition unit(110) acquires the image of a predetermined subject, and an initial brightness detection unit(120) detects the initial brightness of the image acquired by the image acquisition unit in initial exposure. An image compensation unit(160) compensates the brightness of the acquired image so as for the detected initial brightness to be target brightness. An external light detection unit(140) detects the brightness of an external light.
