Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for providing a GUI and a device using the same are provided to enable a user to get interests in a GUI by allowing the GUI to be evolved while being used. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(120) displays a certain scene among plural scenes which constitute a GUI(Graphic User Interface), and a control unit(130) executes a function indicated by an icon selected from the icons indicated in the scene. The control unit considers the selection frequency of the icon in order to change the shape of the icon and at least one of the scenes in which the icon is indicated. The icon has the shape which enables the intuition of the function indicated by the icon.
