Abstract: 본 발명은 복합기의 팩스수신 처리방법에 관한 것으로, 좀더 상세하게는 팩스수신이 메모리수신을 하다가 메모리풀이 검출되면 페이지메모리의 데이터를 픽셀버퍼로 이동시켜 직접 수신패스로 변경 처리하므로써 팩스수신 데이터를 유실시키지 않고 메모리에 저장함에 따라 리모우트팩스의 사용자가 팩스 송신작업을 재 수행해야 하는 번거로움과 불편함을 해소시키도록 하는데 목적이 있다.
상기의 목적을 달성하고자 본 발명은 프린터의 사용여부를 체크하여 프린터사용중이 아니면 직접 페이지를 수신한후 1페이지를 수신하는 제 1과정과, 프린터사용 중이면 메모리를 이용하여 페이지를 수신하고 페이지단위로 메모리풀 여부를 체크하는 제 2과정과, 메모리풀 정보이면 플래그비트를 세트시킨후 페이지가 끝났는가를 체크하는 제 3과정과, 페이지가 끝났으면 다시 플래그를 체크하여 메모리풀 발생이면 수행중이던 팩스 수신외의 다른 작업을 대기시켜 처리하는 제 4과정과, 제 4과정 수행후 페이지메모리의 테이터를 픽셀버퍼로 이동하여 직접 수신패드로 변경처리하는 제 5과정으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 한다.
