    Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric energy generating device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to generate electric energy by absorbing light from an optical activation layer. CONSTITUTION: An electric energy generating device includes an optical activation layer(40) on a first electrode, a conductive layer(60) on the optical activation layer, a second electrode on the first electrode, a nano wire on the first electrode, and insulating layer(50). The first electrode and the second electrode are separated from each other. The nano wire on the first electrode is made of a piezo-electric material. The insulating layer is located between the conductive layer and the nano wire. The nano wire and the light optical activation layer are electrically connected to each other.
