Abstract: PURPOSE: A message display method of a portable terminal is provided to enable a user to watch messages in one point by filtering various messages according to time and groups. CONSTITUTION: A memory(110) includes an integrated message buffer and application buffers. When a message received from a communication unit is a message received from an integrated message display subscriber, a control unit(100) stores the received message in the application buffer corresponding to the memory. The control unit stores the message in the integrated message buffer of the corresponding subscriber. When a subscriber is an integrated message display subscriber in a message confirmation request, the control unit displays reception messages linked in the integrated message buffer of the subscriber of the memory.
