    Abstract: An LCD is provided to supply high voltage to a fluorescent lamp through simple circuit configuration and integrate an external DC power device adopted in a large LCD panel into the LCD panel. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprises an LCD panel driver, an LCD panel(850) and a backlight unit. A first power converter(300) is installed in an LCD module unit(800) including the LCD panel, and receives first AC(Alternating Current) power from the outside to rectify the first AC power and convert the first AC power into first DC(Direct Current) power. The first power converter converts the first DC power into second DC power higher than the first DC power. A second power converter(400) is installed in the LCD module unit, and converts the second DC power into second AC power so as to be suitable for the backlight unit. After that, the second power converter outputs the converted second AC power to the backlight unit. A third power converter(700) is installed in the LCD module unit, and converts the first DC power into plural third DC powers so as to be suitable for the LCD panel driver. After that, the third power converter outputs the converted plural third DC powers to the LCD panel driver.
